DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I’m Ecuadorian and so far this is NOT authentic Ecuadorian food I have been living in Yonkers for over 10 years and only have this place like 3 times, I’ve decided to give them a chance today delivery took almost 2 HOURS and food was nasty I ordered steak, rice and beans it looked like the steak same way it came out of the fridge they put it into the grill. Please save your money and eat McDonald’s.

I liked that restaurant because we went to celebrate our daughter's birthday and we asked if they could sing the birthday and they said yes and they surprised us with a cake without thinking, that's why I say that the service was very good.

Just tried food from this restaurant yesterday for Mother's Day. Normally my family and I order Ecuadorian food from another restaurant in Upper Manhattan but they were not available on the phone so we weren't able to place an order. Plus, their prices have slowly gone up over the years. I looked up other Ecuadorian restaurants near me and El Marinero came up in the results. I don't live far from Yonkers at all and sent the info to my family who called in and placed a pick up order. When we finally went to get our food everything was ready, nicely packed up and hot with these incredible scents coming from the bags! The young lady behind the counter was so sweet and came over to help us as I wanted to make sure everything we ordered was included and nothing was missing. Our platters included sopa de gallina, caldo de bola, seco de chivo, carne asada and humitas. There were sides of rice, mini salads, and beans included. I had the seco de chivo and it was very tasty! Big pieces of meat on bone, hearty fluffy rice and a slice of plantain. My family members enjoyed their food as well. Good thing I grabbed some menus for all of us because we will DEFINTELY be ordering from this restaurant again! Prices are affordable for such great food and also big servings!
