You don’t need to leave the borough to find a feel-good cafe, and that means so much to me. The Irish Coffee Shop is cozy, welcoming, and full of heart. It has the kind of warmth that makes you want to stay a while, whether you're sitting by the window or tucked into a quiet booth.
The Matcha Irish Cream was a 10 out of 10. Smooth, earthy, just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. And the bowl of fruit? Easily the freshest I’ve ever had. Everything tasted like it was made with real care.
It’s rare to find a spot like this right in the neighborhood where the food, drinks, and atmosphere all come together perfectly. I’ll definitely be back. This place is a Bronx treasure.

We just went there this morning and had an excellent experience. Good value for the money. Delicious brown bread. I had corned beef hash, which was homemade and really good. We also took home a soda bread. I've never been to Ireland yet, but it seemed like I was there today. Beautiful pictures on the walls. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service!

rude staff all around from the owner to wait staff - food mediocre at best. If you like cold, yet burned french fries then this is the place for you!!!

Wonderful, especially the specials at night. Oh my goodness are they delicious. The food is way better at night. And the way the Irish Coffee Shop makes Latte you would think your in Italy.

I was passing through the area for work when I stumbled upon this place. Quaint little spot. I had the Irish Mixed Grill. The porkchop was a little overdone, but otherwise very flavorful. The rest of the meal was very good, and the portions for the price were very reasonable. The waitress who originally took my order did kind of forget that I was still there (never returning to check if I needed anything), but thankfully another picked up the slack. The two little negatives kept me from leaving a 5 star across the board review, but I would definitely give this place another shot the next time I am in town.
