This was my first time to Jamaica Kitchen. It's a no-frills place, but the food was DELICIOUS! I tried the jerk chicken and jerk pork, with rice n peas and veggies. The meats had great flavor and not too spicy, so you could enjoy the flavor. The rice n peas was moist, not dry, and they poured some of the jerk sauce over it to give it some jerk flavor. The veggies were either steamed or boiled, with a fresh taste. I would definitely return here and recommend it!

Me and my son been craving for oxtail in days and finally we ordered oxtail asked for extra gravy, yam, white rice, rice & peas with steamed cabbage. Oxtail taste like somebody first time making it with taste and dry, both rice or blend no flavor, yams looks like just steamed not enough sugar or anything, cabbage no taste, no gravy so everything was not Jamaican what so ever period ‼️ I'm so disappointed $58 I could have taking it to the damn Chinese restaurant never again.

Walked in and greeted bro, he didn’t even respond, I was like okay no big deal. Then he gave me the vibe as if I was bothering him when I was trying to order. I told him never mind and walked away lol. Wasn’t about to give him my money with that attitude.
This place is downright disgusting. The food is nasty. There was no hint of jamican taste to the food. They have a Mexican cook, so the food has more Spanish than anything.
The Mac and Cheese was definitely tasteless and out of a macaroni box.
We were very disappointed!
If you want real Jamaican food, don't go here.

Ordered take out. One medium jerk chicken with two sides, one small goats curry, one large goats curry, and one large oxtail. The small and large have the same amount of meat, the only difference being that the large is 75 percent rice and collards. The small and medium containers are the same size. I would say that all sizes have a small portion of meat, leaving us feeling very cheated. For the amount that each cost ($12, $18, $20) the food was okay. This was our 2nd time ordering bc our first experience was good, although the portions were still lacking. Also, items from menu were missing. We really enjoyed their Jamaican beef patties and banana pudding, but they were taken off the menu. It had potential! Sadly, will not be ordering from here again. If you want to take a gamble and order from them, order the small.
