Definitely one of the better sit down restaurants in cross county although it was very hectic for lunch. But our food did arrive very quickly and the ribeye was very tender.

The food was okay, the service was not what you think you would get at a place like this. We got some of our foos first without even having gotten water. They were very messy and it didn’t seem too busy.

Mito can be a romantic, with friends or after shopping I'm starving moment. They offer Hibachi or menu. Their sushi - I've heard it's good and seems to be as it never fails my family in taste or presentation. We also enjoy the edamame, calamari, miso soup, and rice with chicken and shrimp. Martinis, especially the lychee, is delicious. The customer service is prompt and courteous. The place is clean at all hours of the day or night. We frequent quite often and have yet to be disappointed.

Kid-friendliness: The place is kid friendly , especially the Hibachi area. There are often kids, along with parents, that frequent the restaurant post shopping. In the evening, there appears to be mostly adult patronage.

Wheelchair accessibility: I would say both inside and out it's wheel chair accessible.

Got here at 1040 and was turned down after being asked how many ppl I was with she said the kitchen is closed which is weird because the tables have the grills on them

I don’t typically leave negative reviews but I have to in this case. I have dined at Mito numerous times and spent good money here but after today I will not be returning. Today, I came in with my toddler to have lunch. Upon our arrival, the host was very unwelcoming as if she had no business speaking to me. She then sat us at a table and left us there for over 20 minutes, but went on to take the orders of other tables with people who arrived way after us. There were multiple waiters in the restaurant as well who were just standing around and never came to take our order or address us at all. At this point I began to feel that we were not welcome here. We waited so long that my baby started to get impatient as he was hungry so I had to leave. The food here is pricey and decent but certainly not good enough to tolerate poor service.

We were looking for a place not too far from where my Grandma lives to take her out for lunch. It’s been a while since we took her out to Hibachi, and this place was less than fifteen minutes away. When we arrived, it wasn’t too busy. We ordered the combination of salmon and chicken, and shrimp and chicken, which came with a choice of soup, salad, egg roll, or California roll. We chose the miso soup. For appetizers, we had the dumplings and calamari. The food was decent, but I’ve definitely had better hibachi at lower price points with larger portions. The dumplings and calamari, in particular, tasted like something you’d find frozen at places like HMart or Trader Joe’s, rather than freshly made. On the plus side, the hibachi chef was engaging and entertaining. There was nothing particularly egregious about the visit, but nothing memorable enough to make me want to come back either.

Their shrimp tempura is pretty basic compared to other sushi spots in the area. There is no eel sauce on top and it’s just rice, cucumber and the shrimp. I’m not sure if they rushed this because this is a to go order but it should be given the same level of attention as a dine-in. It’s not even prepared in the container correctly and it just seems like it was thrown together.

I will go to the sushi place in Pelham over this place even though this is just up the block from my house.

Food is so bad. How everyone else said “it’s not bad, it’s not good”, but for me it’s bad - it’s not that cheap and the fish was WARM like it wasn’t in a freezer or fridge for days . I felt scared to eat it. It has almost no taste but just warm fish. After this meal you immediately want to go to eat sth else to just forget what just got in your stomach

Bad attention since 9 at night and I was there until 11:40 at night and they couldn't help me and I was with my two children, a 9-year-old baron and an 11-year-old girl.

Definitely not worth $150 that we spent won’t recommend this spot to anyone! It wasn’t even cooked hibachi in front of us and I called before to make sure when the last seating and they said 9:30 ended up eating in the dinner area !! The food was standard but not that great for the price and being rushed at that

I’ve come here a couple times. The hibachi food is very very good. However the waiter was i incessant with removing plates off the table and rushing to get me to pay. I don’t understand the rush, we weren’t there for very long and that’s definitely to do with her rushing the process. Please allow me to enjoy the food instead of hovering like a hawk to get me out. It wasn’t even a full venue, so it soured the experience. Otherwise, food is good, expensive but good
