Shot Out to this hidden gem and shot out to the owner Avian!! Grandma (from Brooklyn) wanted some soul food so since I now reside in the area, I've been wanting to try this spot.... I placed a large order for pick up... *Crab Bites, Fried Oysters and 3 Large Salmon Dinners, with yams, greens, and Mac n cheese. The portions were huge! And let me tell you, believe the hype!! Gigi APPROVED! She wasnt even talking just enjoying her food! 🥰 Food was BOMB! Avian and his family most definitely know what they are doing here. Now, Gigi gonna want a plate every time I go visit her. 🙏🏼❤️ Plus, I'm the type to travel for food and I agree this spot hits! From my familry to yours thank you again for the outstanding service and amazing food!!

I am well acquainted with Off the Hook as it started in West Haverstraw NY. I was pretty sad when it was closed down and I realized a little while ago that it had moved to Yonkers. My wife and I decided to visit the new location in Yonkers. We were greeted and seated by the owner Avian. He was pretty much a one man show that day, being a host, waiter, bartender and buser. We did have a great conversation on why he moved to Yonkers and how he has advanced the business since moving. Onto the food… we started with jerk chicken egg rolls and some fried fish bites. Both appetizers were delicious! For the entrees, my wife got the salmon etoufée paired with a passion fruit margarita and I got the dry aged steak paired with a Pinot noir. We left happy with good food in our tummy. Will definitely return on a night when they have entertainment.

na the attitude coming from the owner because he was having a bad day the food is no good only the potato salad won't be spending my money in there anymore. The fact that the way the owner spoke to me on the phone I had to bite my tongue because he brought more fish to my house so I had to be nice but omg I wanted to give him the business but I waited and got my money back from door dash. im waiting on make my fish to come to yonkers and guess what OFF THE HOOK WILL BE OFF THE RADAR. THEY LOSS ME AS A CUSTOMER.

Placed an order on grub hub and was extremely disappointed the lack of condiments and utensils. $90 down the drain and not even ketchup, tartar, lemons or napkins. Called in and only got an apology. The lack of accomodations lead me to believe it isn't any different if eating in. I hope they see this message and think about including these items. Do better.

We had the celebration of my life for my mother on Nov 2nd. My son secured the booking of Off The Hook. The staff was very accommodating, professional and friendly. All the soul food dishes were really good especially the shrimp. It's small and cozy, a venue my mom would have loved. Great bartender if I recall his name, Brandon. He paid very close attention if drinks needed to be refilled. Thanks to Off the Hook Of Yonkers for making my mom's repast just the way she would have wanted.

The food was great ! Only gave 4 stars because some of the items from my order were missing. ( This was a takeout order ) Fried whiting platter was missing the cornbread, I ordered a bread pudding which wasn't in my bag either. And I had ordered the jerk chicken egg rolls and they didn't have enough the sauce that comes with it. I had inquired about it, and I was told that a fresh batch was just made and it wasn't ready when I placed my order. Needless to say, that sauce goes well with the egg rolls and I had to do without. I didn't notice the missing cornbread or bread pudding until I got home. Hopefully next visit, everything will be accurate 🙏🏾.
