The food is pretty good, but I had a horrible experience here last night. I asked the waiter what was in the stuffed peppers because it sounded good but I wanted to make sure it did not have pork in it because I do not eat pork. He told me it’s only cheese and breadcrumbs. I said great, I’ll have that. When it came, I took a bite and immediately spit it out because something wasn’t right. I told the waiter that there was some type of meat in it. He reassured me there wasn’t, even though it was very clear there was. Then he slipped up and said there was beef in it, and I told him whether it was beef or pork, it’s still not okay because he told me it was just cheese and breadcrumbs. He panicked and said he would ask the kitchen if there was meat in it. I asked my friends at the table what they believed it to be and they confirmed it was pork sausage. This was the worse outcome for me. The waiter had the audacity to come back and tell me it was okay because it was just beef. Once again, lying to me about what he served me. I was furious but I did not want to ruin my night out with my friends. I tried my hardest to play it cool and order something else on the menu. I opted for the antipasto Tuscano (grilled veggies and mozzarella). After my friends finished their food, the busboy took the plates. About another 20 mins after that, the waiter came by and asked if everything was okay. At this point I was in disbelief and responded “do you remember that I ordered the antipasto?” To which he responded “uhhh, ooohh, they didn’t bring it?” I said “no, in fact, I don’t even want it.” I left hungry, upset, and ashamed of my first bite of pork in many many years.

Went here for the first time and literally froze while eating my meal. Don’t know if they didn’t have the heat on or had the a/c on during a snowy night on 1/18. I ordered the chicken parm dinner which comes with a salad and your choice of pasta. For $25 you get one thin cutlet and a small bowl of pasta. I also ordered a meatball parm hero to go and when I got home the sandwich literally had one small meatball cut in half on each side. So I literally paid $11 for hero bread with 2 small meatballs cut in half. Unbelievable…Never again.

Great Food - Service - Quality of Food. I’m their newest bartender and so happy to see community faces and people who love pizza beat for a long time. The owner and team is fully dedicated and in love with what they do & their consistency in food since I’m a child here is excellent. The new owner since 2018/2019 is the chef and this family business is still as good as it ever was. Love the holiday decor and advancement and the rustic Italian vibe it’s maintained for so long ! Thank you for having me on your team Pizza Beat Yonkers

Checked out the pictures and the reviews I must’ve walked back through Time when I walked through the door because the chicken Parm hero that I ordered was nothing like the reviews that people were giving it
It was two premade frozen Chicken patties that they cooked threw some sauce and garbage cheese
The kind you don’t even taste most horrible lunch experience ever and nobody’s Italian in there and if they are, they should never go back to Italy. They should just stay here and make peoples lives worse.
I swear I will never eat there again.
It’s sad to say, but I think a McDonald’s big Mac could blow them sky high out of the water.

Excellent food and good portions.
Went for Brunch on a Saturday. 3 tables total in all. They claim they serve brunch with a list of food items at the door. Ordered an omelet. Mother ordered "A PLAIN WAFFLE". This was at Brunch time. Waited 20 minutes while others ate. Got my omelet that was room temperature with HOT potatoes. Server gave my mom WAFFLE FRIES. NOT WHAT WAS ORDERED, and left. Hard time getting servers back when they cater to others and themselves chatting. After another 20 minutes I told her, Get the check and we'll go somewhere else to eat. She never got her Waffle or an apology but they mustered a limp reason as the chef and staff don't really cater to brunch as they are an Italian restaurant. THEN TAKE BRUNCH OFF OF WHAT YOU SERVE THEN. SIMPLE. NEVER GOING BACK. BUT THEY HAD THE BALLS TO TACK ON A $3.50 Charge for a CREDIT CARD.
I really enjoy coming here to eat and relax with my family .
