I haven't been to this place in 35 years.The reason it took so long for me to come back because the first time I was there was also the last time. The food was horrendous back then.So I figure we try to go again. To my surprise the food was excellent. I guess they did something different in 35 years.

I worked at Pizza Beat as a busboy “back in the day”. It’s hard to find a restaurant that’s stood the test of time, more than 40 years in this case. Granted the ownership has changed over the years, but Pizza Beat is an excellent value. I decided to pay a visit to reminisce about the past and was quite surprised! I stop in with my kids for lunch. We seated quickly, the restaurant wasn’t crowded. I ordered a large cheese pizza pie and a pitcher of soda. The pizza came Hot and ready to eat. It was delicious!!! No complaints from my kids.
