I love hunting down smaller, non-chain places when traveling. Had never heard of Ramen Don Don. I love ramen so i decided to give it a try. Hard pass.
First, its located in a supermarket. That in itself isnt a deal breaker, just realize this isnt a restaurant environment. This is a food court. Food ordering was a bit confusing. You actually order at the place to the right of Ramen Don Don and then the food is prepared.
Portions are large, plenty of food. Broth was good too. That's pretty much where it lost me. My noodles were not cooked well, thick and gummy. Was mostly broth. The guys serving set my bowl on the counter and maybe they called my number, maybe not. Never heard it but they went to the back of the serving area and sat talking. They were busy so there was confusion on whom the order belonged too. I finally asked and they gave me a number.... by then it was cold.
Overall, quality is probably a 4 out of 10. Staff is a 3. Environment is a 2. Tables were dirty and this is basically a cattle line for food.
What it is good for is cheaper eats. Pricing wasn't too bad and there isna moderate amount of food. Regardless, I would not return to this one.

Food is ok, but I cannot believe they wanna charge you to give you hot sauce. No restaurant I’ve been to on earth has asked me for extra pay for hot sauce.
I love this ramen shop because the guys that work there actually care about how they make the food. Be sure to let the cashier know if the order is to stay or go because they pack the noodles separately to preserve photo. Best place close to home

It’s sad to say this will be my last time coming here. I’ve been coming here for about 2 years. I always get ramen. Today I got it to go. They usually give two whole pcs of tonkotsu. Today they cut one pcs into two. The prices go up. The quality goes down.

For pork tonkatsu (D10), the flavors were there. Pork cutlet was very thin, but juicy and had a good bite to it. The bowl came with a miso soup. As with all of the stalls at this H Mart food court, the complaint would be the value of the meal. The proportion of topping to rice just isn't there, and you are left with half a bowl of rice after having finished the tonkatsu. A thicker cutlet would solve this problem. The seating area is spacious, well lit, and clean.

I don't know what happened to this place. I used to love love love the ramen. Would order at least twice a month, sometimes more, and now it has no taste. Would never order again. So disappointing!

Our favorite spot in the cafeteria style H-Mart eating area. Doesn’t ever disappoint. Everything tastes fresh and comes out hot. I’ve tried most of the menu and you can’t beat the quality for the price point.

One of the busy food stores in the Kmart food Court. Offer various Japanese food options. Good for a quick bite before or after

We got the tonkatsu ramen with salmon onigiri. The noodles were overcooked and the broth had that porky, creamy texture but no real flavor. The char siu was thin. The salmon onigiri was canned salmon which was one of the worse onigiris we've had.

I ordered chili chicken and boy was it hot. 2 pepper rating. I don't think so. It had no taste. Lots of peppers as you can see. They had chili, garlic and pieces of jalapeños. I took it all out and ate 2 days later and it was still spicy hot.
