I went out to dinner with my family. (Total of 4ppl)Very disappointed! We asked for chips and salsa for the table and the server asked me how many orders?? Turns out they don’t provide chips and salsa Unless you pay for it! We noticed the server only brought 2 glasses of water to the table. We ordered drinks from the bar, and we had to ask for more water for the other 2 that were missing….
The food was ok! Nothing to brag about… Service was OK, not what I expected! At the end of our disappointed experience at Rancho grande we asked for the check. And the server gave himself a very generous tip!! I questioned it and he claims that the computer automatically adds a 20% tip to all the check! Is that even legal???
If It’s 6 people or more, I get it!
but 4ppl! Come on! It’s the principal! Then I went to the restroom before we left the restaurant…. OMG!!!
The ladies bathroom is absolutely disgusting! The stalls were so small you can’t get inside without squeezing the door open, and then close again for privacy! Because the door open going in! One of the doors in the bathroom lead to a family bathroom that was broken!! ?
The vanity has two sinks! One broken and one working. NO soap in the dispenser! Time to find a new Mexican restaurant people!! Don’t waste your time and money come in here!
It was our first time there. I would have maybe given it 2 stars if they would not have mashed the beans. I won't be going back.

The food is always delicious and the portions are generous. I ordered Tres Amigos Enchiladas, which is my favorite, and it's literally two meals. The portion of chips is so big that they fill a giant Pyrex container and last for easily 3 days. I wish they gave more salsa, but other than that, it's perfect. I picked up my food and ordered in person since I wanted to make sure I didn't get mole sauce. The man at the front desk couldn't have been nicer and I didn't even wait 10 minutes for my food. Great experience. Yes, it's expensive, but so is everything nowadays, this is a definitely a treat.

This place is openly and highly racist. My mother and I walked into the establishment, the hostess walked up having a conversation on his personal cellphone, and did not hang up. He asked if we are here for the happy hour or dinner, I said “happy hour”, he pointed vaguely around the corner, turned his back and continued his conversation. Upon sitting at the bar, all the staff began to openly stare and act as if they did not see us sitting there. After 5 minutes of sitting there, no one approached, spoke or even gestured in our direction. At this point I could practically feel the open, racist, hostile air of the establishment and the staff. After being openly ignored by 3 waiters, I left. This place should be ashamed of themselves.

We went here on Sunday for father's day and my son's late birthday celebration. The food and service is always excellent. However, I probably will not be going back because I wasn't aware the refills were not free. So when I looked at my bill the next day and saw that I was not happy. Also they would like you to add gratuity and tip separately. I'm not sure what that is all about since it was only three of us. I think gratuity is usually charged for big groups.

Extremely small portions, and expensive. I’ve never gone to a Mexican place so skimpy on the portions. We ordered ceviche, it came with maybe 6 shrimp. No chips, just stale crackers. Then we got fajitas, they were very skimpy on the tortillas even and they come with just fajitas, no rice, no beans. And don’t get a refill on your drinks, they charge for each one. I would’ve liked to know that but our waiter hardly even stopped to take our order, it wasn’t crowded, but he looked like he had something else to do.
