the produce lately and made salads are bad.. !! they should check the food b4 they put it out to sell. Rotten fruit and Salads..

Please be aware! I went to Stew Leonard’s Norwalk store. I bought King Crab legs @ $ 39.99 per pound. I paid a little over $40 dollars. Once I got home I realized that the seafood was ROTTEN and spoiled. It was a terrible foul smell. When I went to take it back to the store they were so rude and didn’t even apologize or take accountability. The employee threw it in the garbage and said “what you want your money back?!”. Then two days later I went to give my dog a “bubba bite dog treat” (Stew’s house brand) and the entire bag of dog treats was green, moldy and full of hair!! It literally looked like a penicillin factory! Absolutely terrible to have food be rotten or go to waste when you pay so much for what is supposed to be quality and clearly isn’t.

What's up with the ginormous LED sign going up to Stew's. It's about unfarm like as you can get. It's so bright and lights like that interfere with the migratory patterns of birds. The folksy chalkboardish signs on Stew Leonard drive leading up to the store are enough. LED billboards, silos and farms don't mix. Loose the LED billboard!

No one beats big stews!

More entertaining than Disney world. Bring your well behaved toddler to sit in the chart and save big $$$$. They have everything food-related, nursery, n' more as they say. Going there is an event.

Fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood. They also have sample stations so that you can taste some of the products they sell. It seems that every employee of this store is soooooo friendly. Once you get to the cashier they have a pad that you can write down your experience with them ,and every TIME my statement is the sample 'GREAT'. STORE IS CLEAN AND PRICES ARE GOOD

A bit of a mixed bag . Walking through the maze. Fish doesn't look all in all fresh , 3 or 4 out of the case. Prices are also mixed. There wine and Liquor shop has some great deals .

I went to buy some nice cod yesterday for a dinner we were having tonight. I trusted the seafood counter at Stew’s to give me what I asked for - some nice pieces. I op-ed the bag today to find not one filet but rather the leftover tail pieces and belly meat. Never again will I buy anything from there again. I was shopping at the Danbury store.

Love it wish there was one near me. Wide selection of everything….

Love Stew Leonard’s so fun for kids and grown- ups alike. Good selection and the soft serve ice cream is a real treat

Sparkling clean with great lighting in every aspect and in every corner!!

I love this store always has the best produce and meats. The samples are good and also make you purchase the product. The only downside is it's always crowded when I go there. I guess that is a good thing. Crowded place equal good products.

Now you know it takes time to shop in Stews, you just want to try everything out...The meat dept is off the wall...But quality is all there.
