Great local pub for great food and drinks. Tara's is an old school yonkers institution ! If you grew up here you have likely been to Tara's a ton over the years. The staff is great, the place is cozy and the food is fantastic. Whether you are a local or a first time visitor you will be welcome at Tara's.

I was there with my wife my son who plays for Tara’s and my daughter after a game we just finish playing in 90 degree weather so he took his team shirt off sat at a table with my wife and daughter and ordered and they gave him a shirt with sleeves to put on mean while there were girls wearing sports bras sweating up a storm but the did care because my son is a guy!!!!!

We go 1 or 2 times a week. The service is normally very good. The food is cooked the way you ask for it and is good, not very expensive. The bartenders remember what you are drinking and are usually very personable if they aren't crazy busy, and still on the spot. The atmosphere, well it's a bar with several tv's, that lottery game that's in every bar and, there is always music playing in th background. All in all it's a very nice place.
