Had never been to this location and it's small and intimate. The food is always delish. We met friends from out of town on a Sunday night and it was quiet there and we stayed for over 3 hours and the staff was more than kind to us. Always reliable and always tasty.
We went there on our trip to New York, and OpenTable was promoting them as a place with open tables in the next hour. We go there to be shoved into a corner table, ignored for probably 20 minutes. Every question we asked we got pushback, so we just ordered and waited for our food. We get through starter and main course, no check-in on how the experience is going. 45 minutes of waiting go by to never be spoken to by our server. Then we flag someone down to wait another 30 minutes...
Cool, quiet spot with nice food... service is fast, and the menu is pretty well-thought-out. Reasonably cheap considering the area; I think we ended up spending about $40 per person after tip (not inc. alcohol).
