Top Shelf BBQ on Central Park Avenue. It's the real deal. Just BBQ meat on paper sheets a few choice sides, nothing fancy. Which is quite simply BBQ perfection.I've gotten the ribs and pulled pork. Their Mac n cheese and green beans sides complement the meat. Plus they have 5 different sauces to sample.Simple decor, lined with multiple trophies and awards of the BBQ genius.Run, don't walk, to the Wild Hog!!

The place looks closed. The lights were off. There were no customers there, which is always a bad sign at any BBQ place. The pulled pork sandwich came with sauce on the side instead of mixed in the meat. The pork was not pulled but instead cut into chunks. The "meal" consisted of the "pulled pork" sandwich, a side (mac n cheese) in a small condiment container (the size of 2 tablespoons) and a soda (12 oz can) all for $17.

Whole Hog did a fantastic job catering a party I attended. They stepped up on short notice and provided pulled pork, ribs, pulled chicken, and brisket, with a full complement of sides. All were very good, but the pulled pork in particular was truly outstanding.
Meh! ?♀️Sorry, but it wasn’t worth it. Really disappointing. I’ll leave BBQ to the TRUE experts. But this definitely isn’t the spot.
Being from NC I have high standards for my barbecue, and this place is legit. It is by far the best I have had around NY. I went for the pulled pork sandwich with vinegar spice sauce. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the sauce had a great kick. Would highly recommend!

Nice place. The food was really savory and well made. The soda machine was out of service and the bathroom lock didn't work, but I've seen this as a common complaint in this place so I don't want to reiterate. It was a good experience

I can't add photos because we ate the food too fast!!! Best BBQ in Yonkers hands down! You know how little kids rake a bit of your food and run around? My baby stayed hovering over my plate till the last bite!!! Got the Pulled Pork sandwich and the BBQ ribs, try this place out!!! ☆☆☆☆☆
Kid-friendliness: Spacious and has baby chairs and kids meals.

Hit and miss. Sausage was tasty, sides (potato salad and baked beans) were very good. Brisket was, kindly, forgettable. .30 for extra sauce is chintzy. Service is very competent. Not the nicest place to eat in.
I read the reviews, and i almost did not visit. However, we still decided to, and we enjoyed the food. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant. The restaurant looked clean, and food came in a timely manner.

Place looks like it was vandalized and the owner just shrugged and said, "Good enough." Soda machine is out of order, bathroom door lock is broken and they have no intention of fixing it since they put up a sign instead, they have another sign that says absolutely no refunds of any kind, so there's your warning on the quality of the food. When they opened they had good food, but that time has passed. The ribs are like chewing plastic. I will never go here again.

My wife and I eat lunch here several times a month. Everything is hot and fresh. My favorites are the beef brisket platter and the pulled pork. The staff, especially the owner/manager are very friendly and engaging with the customers.

Delicious BBQ!!!!!Went there for a birthday celebration. Told them we would going to the movies first so placed our orders early.when we came back our food was ready and beyond delicious. The staff was kind, helpful and polite. AND the BBQ was DELICIOUS!
I have been a customer here since they opened, but today is my last time . An older man with glasses goes by the name Wyatt - is the worst when it comes to customer service. I ordered the hog platter , and I have to say I live 12 miles away from the restaurant. When I get home, this is what I got (see pic) a sad looking platter, and they forgot the ribs in both platters. I tried to give a black owned business some props . I have eaten in many places throughout NYC that are closer and better , but I still drive to Yonkers for BBQ, but no more as long as Mr. Wyatt is working the counter. He was rude and condescending on the phone to my wife and me . I am going to un-recommend this restaurant to my co-workers and friends; GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
