It's a good restaurant it just needs to have better portion sizes for the increased costs

Top Shelf BBQ on Central Park Avenue. It's the real deal. Just BBQ meat on paper sheets a few choice sides, nothing fancy. Which is quite simply BBQ perfection.I've gotten the ribs and pulled pork. Their Mac n cheese and green beans sides complement the meat. Plus they have 5 different sauces to sample.Simple decor, lined with multiple trophies and awards of the BBQ genius.Run, don't walk, to the Wild Hog!!

The place looks closed. The lights were off. There were no customers there, which is always a bad sign at any BBQ place. The pulled pork sandwich came with sauce on the side instead of mixed in the meat. The pork was not pulled but instead cut into chunks. The "meal" consisted of the "pulled pork" sandwich, a side (mac n cheese) in a small condiment container (the size of 2 tablespoons) and a soda (12 oz can) all for $17.

Whole Hog did a fantastic job catering a party I attended. They stepped up on short notice and provided pulled pork, ribs, pulled chicken, and brisket, with a full complement of sides. All were very good, but the pulled pork in particular was truly outstanding.

Meh! ?‍♀️Sorry, but it wasn’t worth it. Really disappointing. I’ll leave BBQ to the TRUE experts. But this definitely isn’t the spot.

Being from NC I have high standards for my barbecue, and this place is legit. It is by far the best I have had around NY. I went for the pulled pork sandwich with vinegar spice sauce. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the sauce had a great kick. Would highly recommend!

We placed an online order for pickup (dinner time crunch). Well I will tell you, the smell alone will want to spend the night in there. AMAZING. The cashier was so sweet and inviting. She made sure the order was correct as she packed it. Now for the food...what can i say, it reminded of a summertime day down south. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked pulled pork, ribs and beef brisket (we ordered a family combo). The mac and cheese tasted like your grandma made it herself. At first my husband thought "this wont be enough food!" But it was more than enough with the sides and we have leftovers! Will definitely revisit!

Nice place. The food was really savory and well made. The soda machine was out of service and the bathroom lock didn't work, but I've seen this as a common complaint in this place so I don't want to reiterate. It was a good experience

I can't add photos because we ate the food too fast!!! Best BBQ in Yonkers hands down! You know how little kids rake a bit of your food and run around? My baby stayed hovering over my plate till the last bite!!! Got the Pulled Pork sandwich and the BBQ ribs, try this place out!!! ☆☆☆☆☆Kid-friendliness: Spacious and has baby chairs and kids meals.

Hit and miss. Sausage was tasty, sides (potato salad and baked beans) were very good. Brisket was, kindly, forgettable. .30 for extra sauce is chintzy. Service is very competent. Not the nicest place to eat in.

I read the reviews, and i almost did not visit. However, we still decided to, and we enjoyed the food. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant. The restaurant looked clean, and food came in a timely manner.

Place looks like it was vandalized and the owner just shrugged and said, "Good enough." Soda machine is out of order, bathroom door lock is broken and they have no intention of fixing it since they put up a sign instead, they have another sign that says absolutely no refunds of any kind, so there's your warning on the quality of the food. When they opened they had good food, but that time has passed. The ribs are like chewing plastic. I will never go here again.

My wife and I eat lunch here several times a month. Everything is hot and fresh. My favorites are the beef brisket platter and the pulled pork. The staff, especially the owner/manager are very friendly and engaging with the customers.Parking: Over 300 spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from parking lot

This BBQ joint is delicious and their service is top-notch. But here's the catch: they seem to have a knack for running out of food faster than I can say "hickory-smoked goodness!"I've given it three tries, and on two of those occasions, a whopping 75% of the menu was sold-out. Talk about playing food roulette! You never know if you'll walk out full or still scouting for sustenance. So, if you're up for a thrilling culinary adventure, this place is perfect. Just be prepared to take your chances and hope luck is on your side when it comes to satisfying your BBQ cravings.Bon appétit, and may the food odds be ever in your favor!

We were driving nearby and just saw the sign. My partner and I were not disappointed! It was so good and the people really nice. The brisket was juicy, the Mac and cheese bowl great with pulled pork. I feel the cheese on top should be melted but I mixed it so it was better. The place is small, and feels like a fast food place. Will go back!
