Our party of 8 was lucky to be set aside in a party room! Everything was great and everyone was happy. One of my drinks was a little light, but not a big deal for me. I'm not a fan of sending things back. We were very happy to enjoy our time here and will be back.

Tried this place for the first time on my birthday and it was memorable.Decor is somewhat a barn style modern time. It had a cozy feel in the restaurant part. There’s a large sitting area at bar and tables in the back. Great for a casual night out or quick drink/bite.Service was EXCELLENT. Our server was Omar, true gentleman. He checked on us often and very accommodating, I asked for one of the flatbreads if it could be done gluten-free, and he was able to do it. There are many gluten-free options. I was especially excited about the calamari. It was soft and seasoned perfectly! Haven’t had it in years and was able to have it on my birthday. Such a treat.My husband and son had the surf and turf and both enjoyed it. I had the bolognese which they accommodated me with gluten-free penne. It was DELICIOUS!Overall, I gave it four stars because of the decor and drinks seemed a lil watered down but service ,food and feeling welcome is five stars . I definitely recommend this place and we will be going back as a regular.** update . Went a second time tonight and the drinks were not so watered down. Pineapple martini excellently made. Our server Alti was sweet and attentive. Great place and superb food.

Our experience here was kind of a mixed bag. We arrived at our reservation time, and were led to our table by the hostess. We had specified in our rez that we needed a high chair, and reiterated this to the hostess, but she left abruptly once we got to the table, leaving us to wait for the server to arrive, to ask him for a high chair. Once he brought the high chair, he disappeared, never to be seen again. After over fifteen minutes without a visit from a server, we flagged someone down and asked if they could check and make sure our table was assigned. I try to be understanding in cases like this, but this really put a damper on our evening- when dining with a baby, you're always operating on a time limit. Our first twenty minutes in the restaurant left us feeling a little unwelcome, which I'm sure was unintentional, but nevertheless is obviously the last thing you want to feel in a restaurant.To their credit, the server we flagged down to ask what was up promptly took out his pad and took our orders. This is good customer service- he could have just as easily said he'd go to figure it out, but he solved the problem for us on the spot. He was fairly attentive to us for the rest of the night, and I appreciated him. Owners, if you are reading this, his name was Alti, and he has excellent sensibilities when it comes to service.The food was very good, and the drinks were lovely. We had initially planned to stay for dessert, but the baby decided he had had enough by that point.Overall, it wasn't the best experience, but I am reluctant to completely write off a place if all the negative aspects stem from a single, probably honest mistake. I would give them another chance, though my wife may need some convincing. I'll update this review if that time comes.

Looking for a new place with a varied American menu. This more than exceeded my expectations. Friendly service, charming ambiance, attractive food presentation, delicious food. Too many choices - will return to try some more! There is also a room with a large festive bar where you can have drinks, dine and talk to people!

Came here for the first time tonight to celebrate a special occasion with my husband. The ambiance, food and employees all made our experience special. A special shout out to all of the employees, the service was incredible. We only live 5 minutes from here and will 100% be back again and will bring friends and family as well! So happy we finally tried Barnwood. The restaurant was very cozy and welcoming. The staff was also very attentive. We tried a number of dishes that were all delicious. The calamari had a very tasty chili sauce, along with fried peppers mixed into the calamari. The Chilean sea bass special was seasoned and cooked well, with a slight crisp on the outside, and a pretty presentation. The barnwood chicken was tender and crisp, however, I wish there were mushrooms with the mushroom bourbon sauce. The kids meals had fresh-cut fries and included a dessert. One of my children did not have a meal, but they still brought him out an ice cream which was very nice. Overall excellent service and food!

Barnwood has become a go to local spot for my wife and I. The atmosphere and staff are always warm and welcoming. Food is well prepared, presented, and delicious. Pork Shank was fantastic. Would recommend Barnwood.
I've been to this place about 3 times now, and the past 2 times have been phenomenal, but, I just went here with my boyfriend for valentines day, and he got the NY strip steak. He had asked for medium rare and when we got the steak parts of it were legit raw, we usually love the food but after that we probably won't be coming back here :/

One of the problems with rating a place the first time I visit is it only provides a snapshot, and I am occasionally faced with the task of revising after returning.My first visit was on point, but disappointment set in after tasting other dishes. I found the ribs to be dry any scantly covered in meat. The chicken wings were just okay. Prices are a bit high as well.If I return, I'd likely order the burger again, but I probably wouldn't want anything else.Servers are always friendly.

What a lovely afternoon lunch with my friends. We were in a private room with a fireplace and service was fantastic. Everyone raved about the food, service and the room. Definitely will be going back.

Our server was very attentive and friendly, not overly aggressive in checking on us. Nice guy, the receptionist was also very nice. Food was good I had butternut squash ravioli and they were delicious.
