Burek was amazing, felt like i was back home the workers were so kind and respectful helped me out with so much one of the girls knew exactly where everything was looked like she’s been working there for a while with lots of experience a very small and put together cultured business 10/10 recommended .
The burek is big, beautiful, layered, crispy. They offer to heat it up, in it goes to a microwave for 3 minutes, out it comes soggy, doughy and bland. Making matters worse is that they have a mini-oven to cook the bureks right next to the microwave, would have been happy to wait.
Imagine going to a pizza shop where they reheat slices in a microwave and you’ll have the idea. Suggest you heat this in your home oven.
I was earlier in your store,I noticed that some products had two different prices — one if you pay with cash (lower), and a higher one if you pay with a card. When I went to pay, my total was $76, but the cashier told me I had to pay an extra $4 just because I was using a card. That’s completely unacceptable. If the card prices are already higher, why is there an extra fee on top of that? It feels like customers are being penalized for using a card, and there’s no transparency about it. This is not fair or professional at all.
Very friendly service, best prices and different kinds of products from Europe. Also, handmade burek is so delicious.
Love this place so much
Nice selection of european food!
The Burek is great!
If you like mediterian food its a good place
An interesting shopping experience beyond the usual.
They provided for my event in the Bronx; and the burek was amazing, treslece was one of a kind, bombica and wafers were so good, and we couldn’t be any happier. Thank you G&G!

I would give this place zero stars of I could. My 10 year old bought chocolate, It was expired (march 2023 expiration but she didnt notice) and when she opened it there were bugs inside the chocolate. When my daughter tried to exchange it alone the woman behind the counter called her a liar and told her to get out. This lady has some nerve. I had to intervene and ask the adult to apologise to my crying 10 year old. Over a $2 piece of candy they make a kid cry? Some business you're running, you should be ashamed. Lost my business forever today.
The homemade burek is outstanding. The people that work there were rude.
Excellent European market. Very helpful staff.
Good source for Balkan specialty food products and related items. Prices are pretty decent too.
They moved next block, I went in a store, expecting same quality products as euro market in Astoria. It's very expensive, biscuits, halva,.... are over sugared. Turkish coffee taste old and burnt. Ajvar was OK taste but gave me horrible stomach issue. Really bad experience. That's not Balkan products...
