An interesting shopping experience beyond the usual.

They provided for my event in the Bronx; and the burek was amazing, treslece was one of a kind, bombica and wafers were so good, and we couldn’t be any happier. Thank you G&G!

I would give this place zero stars of I could. My 10 year old bought chocolate, It was expired (march 2023 expiration but she didnt notice) and when she opened it there were bugs inside the chocolate. When my daughter tried to exchange it alone the woman behind the counter called her a liar and told her to get out. This lady has some nerve. I had to intervene and ask the adult to apologise to my crying 10 year old. Over a $2 piece of candy they make a kid cry? Some business you're running, you should be ashamed. Lost my business forever today.

The homemade burek is outstanding. The people that work there were rude.

Good source for Balkan specialty food products and related items. Prices are pretty decent too.

A small family owned European market with by far the best burek I've had thus far. A nice collection of many different imported goods at reasonable prices. Balkan deserts at the counter (I recommend trying out the bombice) and always friendly service from everyone there. For the burek, you gotta hit it up in the oven for maximum crispiness. Flaky, savory, goodness. Would recommend.

They moved next block, I went in a store, expecting same quality products as euro market in Astoria. It's very expensive, biscuits, halva,.... are over sugared. Turkish coffee taste old and burnt. Ajvar was OK taste but gave me horrible stomach issue. Really bad experience. That's not Balkan products...
Good European market. Well stocked and clean. I wish it is closer to home I would be there more

This place was a grocery store in the front and a small burek shop in the back. The woman who took our order was so nice and hospitable. We got one meat and one cheese burek, but she let us know there was a pumpkin one coming fresh out of the oven in a minute. The pumpkin one looked really good so my suggestion would be to try whatever is coming out of the oven for optimal texture. Out of the two we got, the meat was the winner for me. It was rich and flavorful, albeit a bit greasy. I would come back for more and also to stock up on some frozen ones for later.
The Burek is great!
If you like mediterian food its a good place
