My family and I came here as newcomers to the area, drawn by the restaurant’s great sushi reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming.
While I understand the charm of a family-run business, the person managing the restaurant had young teenagers taking our orders who clearly lacked serving experience. On top of that, I was loudly asked across the room to change my order to a hot dish because the sushi I chose would take over an hour to prepare. It was both embarrassing and unpleasant.
Throughout our visit, staff were answering phones loudly, mentioning how busy they were and wait times for pickup orders, which added to the chaotic feeling. Overall, I was very disappointed with our experience and do not feel it was worth the money we spent. I would recommend considering other options in the area.

We ordered take out last night. Food was mediocre, it used to be better. The person that took our order on the phone was kind of rude and continued to be rude when my wife went to pick the order. They definitely don’t make you feel welcomed. The place itself very messy and kind of smelly too.

As we entered this dirty little restaurant we were greeted by the hostess screaming at us from the other side of the place asking us what we wanted. We then said we like a table for two as she stared at the clock on the wall as if she was closed. Finally while we were sitting we watched the sushi chef eat his own meal in the most distrusting manner, our food came out and was one of the worst sushi meals i have ever eaten. Meat was fishy and all the rolls were thrown together and unraveling. Sorry we even wasted our hard earned money here.

Amazing place with not just great sushi they have Chinese food that is to die for!! I love going to this place with my families at least once a month! I personally love the Alaskan roll, BMW roll and the salmon! It’s absolutely fantastic!! And the gyoza is great and the chicken lomain is just to die for!!!

Sad to say that I have been coming here for over 15 years and the quality of the sushi has depleted so much that yesterday was the last straw, not only are the prices going up ( which i do understand understand the current financial circumstances) but don't raise the prices and then on top of that skim on the sushi. I found a new place in the J.V mall and there sushi is a lot better.

Great family business, good food for everyone at a fair price. If you have children it is always difficult to find something everyone likes. They have so much on the menu, you’d have a hard time not finding something for them! The food is consistently good no matter what you order and the staff is very friendly! Great place right in the middle of Yorktown!
