The bar tender(I can't remember her name) was very friendly. I was there on a weekday early afternoon. Was happy the tavern was open. Good conversation with the bar tender and two other customers at the bar.

Stay away, was over charged and ignored by the bartender. This is a rip off for people out of town they over charge your credit card to buy locals drinks. Total scam.

Fantastic fish fry! Also I stayed overnight upstairs - really lovely old fashioned BnB.

Bartenders are more interested in talking to their friends. Then attending the bar for new invited guests. My food come out almost after an hr wait… I made it easy and ordered a simple grilled cheese. Don’t recommend this place, but it has a lot of potential.

I experienced a few perfect nights at the stone jug with my family while visiting Youngstown. Everything from the ambiance, to the food, and the service couldn't have been better. A few highlights was having entertainment in the backyard. Each night I came here they had phenomenal entertainers. Another highlight was the food...The sweet potatoes fry's, buffalo chicken wings, and the chicken tenders were some of our favorites ! In addition, they have a few games indoors like darts and a table shuffle board. Outside they have connect 4 and Jenga! It is the perfect place to grab some drinks, a good bite, and hangout with friends and family!

So good. The beef on Welk was so yummy and the bread so fresh. Fries were pretty good. Skip the chips. Service is definitely on the slower side but worth the wait.

horrible service. bad attitudes. Food overcooked. 42 minutes for 6 minute fried food. No apologies. Disgusting.

Out back is a fabulous historic rustic outdoor concert venue. Picnic tables & such. Plenty of room to bring a chair or stand for some great music. Right in the heart of the Village of Youngstown. Is this place a secret? Or am I leading a sheltered life?(I did not order any food so I reserve opinion on food & service)

New owners with a great menu. You have to try their Reuben logs, home made and delicious. Everything we tried was a hit. The burgers,Gut Bomb, wings , fingers wraps and salads.Service was great. On Main Street in Youngstown in an old historic building. You can sit on a wrap around porch or inside.Nothing fancy just a neat old building. They even have rooms to rent upstairs.

We waited at the bar to order a drink. After waiting 7 minutes we left. There was no one behind the bar to wait on us. There were 8 other people at the bar. Some already had drinks. It just surprised us how long we sat there without getting waited on.
