It's definitely a small place but it's amazing. There 9$ margaritas are the bomb. The salsa and Chips were great for 2.50 definitely worth a try. The owner was amazing. Definitely worth trying. Would highly recommend the steak queaadilla.

This place is really cute. The service and atmosphere was great. The food was okay. I had the enchiladas. The sauce and chicken were good. But the tortillas were soggy. The best thing we had was the guacamole, it was fresh and delicious! I would go there just to get some guac. But the chips were not fresh. So overall, probably won’t be back unless I have a craving for guacamole.

3.75 stars. I had really high hopes, and perhaps that was the issue. No problems with authenticity, but authenticity isn't the only factor for me when considering a spot like this. Across the board, the flavors were a little lacking. So far I have had a tamal, two types of tacos, and a California burrito. They all were solid, but not standout. I would probably rank the tamal at the top, tacos in the middle, and Cali burrito firmly at the bottom. I will continue eating here, but there are better spots in the Akron area. If you are nearby, it is definitely worth your time and dollar. Service is great. The people are great. The food is good. (3.75 stars)

I didn't want to write this post too quickly after visiting (I'm glad I did)
The place is very small but, it fills the need for quality Mexican food in the North Hill area. At first the portions seemed small but they were just small plates as I was STUFFED by the time I left.
They serve water in a bottle and charge you for it. No ice.
The place STRONGLY of a cleaning agent. I'm not sure if they are trying to mask a smell or what but it drove my appetite down BIG TIME.
The place is not cozy... It's kinda weird.
By the time we paid for our bottles waters and $18 entres we were looking at a $90 bill for 3 and a child.
If you are a single person and are craving Mexican (for pick up) I would recommend this place but not for a table of 4.
I also would not come here is I was on a budget since they nickel and dime you.... My thoughts are the bottles water should be free in exchange for the STRONG cleaning product odor that fills the whole place.

The Birria and Carnitas platters are my goto there. They do their best to give you homestyle food at a decent price. Super friendly couple who runs the place.
The menu is in Spanish but there is pictures. The food is SO GOOD. I got the California burrito with birrira meat and I'm in heaven. New favorite place
