We came here for dinner at 6pm on a Sunday. There was only one server and a bartender working, and they could not keep up, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. It was 15 minutes before the server even came to our table, then our food took another hour after that, and didn't come out together. I finished eating my food before my daughter's pretzel sticks came out. They also brought the wrong side with one of the kids meal. When the correct side finally came out, we were told that they didn't come out with the food because they wanted them to be fresh. The entire experience was ridiculous. You would think they would take something off of the bill, or offer a free dessert or something, but as far as I could tell there wasn't even a manager working to be able to do that.

Told my party of 5 that it was a large party and it would take 30 minutes to sit us. There was more than enough seating, their attitudes was just yucky.

THIS IS THE PLACE!NOTHING ON THE MENU IS AVAILABLE, NOT EVEN A HOT DOG.IF YOU’RE LUCKY TO GET A REFILL, THE SERVERS REFILL THE SAME CUP YOU HAVE. Waited 40 plus minutes for food. Restaurant not busy. They comped food bc we had to leave for show at Civic. Floors littered with napkins.

Four of us went to Barley House to watch the Final Four and enjoy some beer and appetizers. We ordered a generous selection of apps and beers. Our first choice of appetizers was sold out despite the fact it was early in the evening. The various other appetizers were delivered long after we ordered them, sporadically 1 at a time over about an hour and a half despite our having ordered them all at once for delivery at the same time. Well, actually, one of our orders was never delivered at all. Our server, who admitted that she is new, handed us our glasses of beer by holding them at the rims of the glasses-- the exact spots where we would be sipping, instead of minimizing possible transfer of germs by holding the glasses below the rims. The exceptionally LOUD music prevented our hearing one word of the sportscast. The Final Four is one of the major sporting events of the year and we quite reasonably expected that we would be able to view the game without being deafened by "Dancing Queen." We were extremely disappointed and recommend avoiding Barley House.

Food was over priced for the portion that you received. You can get better quality food at sheetz .

Ordered through yelp before they stopped taking online orders. I arrived 15 minutes after I ordered my food around 10:30pm and the doors were locked. There were two people sitting at the bar staring at me drinking beer on shift, they never came to the door to explain why they closed early. I sat in front trying to find somewhere else to eat and an older guy with glasses came out I asked him what time they closed he said he doesn't work there but he walked out the locked doors. I checked my bank and the full $30 came out my account, not sure why their system was able to take money out my account or they are advertising the wrong hours but the workers are incapable of staying the whole shift to preparing the rest of the orders. Would not recommend on late nights!

Came on a Friday night during lent, were the only ones in the place and yet never got seen by a waitress. About five other tables got seated and yet still no one came to take our order. We were there a hour complained to a manager who said oh sorry so we ended up leaving. Never will I come here again...

Went to Barley House before a show at the Civic Center. Overall experience was just ok. We attempted to order appetizers only to be told they were out of both selections (southwest egg rolls and fried pickles). We opted to not try a third time. Our meals were decent, nothing extraordinary, a burger and a Flatbread. The server was young and new. He seemed a little nervous and unsure but provided good service. The maddening part was at the end of service. When we received our bill, nearly 10% was added as a "fee" for using a credit / debit card. I get 2.5 to 3.5% to cover ridiculous processing fees, but this has been leveraged as a profit center, overcharging to recoup fees.We will not return due to the "fees" more than the menu items being 86'd (happens, but whoever is ordering needs to step up and improve).
