What a fun find in Akron's highland square! The area of akron is so different than I remember but I will say this is my favorite trip after visiting my old stomping grounds in Akron, and is the only reason I will be back! Megan behind the bar is without a doubt worth a visit, she radiates good vibes and is exactly what highland square is missing these days!
What a fun find!! Thanks Barmacy, and thank you Megan!
Megan and Skylar gave us such great personalized service. There was so many cider options, which I LOVE!!!! Thanks so much
The service is iffy!!!
Bartenders seem to not enjoy their job, maybe just a bad evening. But I'm big on Customer Service.
Have been at the Barmacy for the fist time to celebrate my birthday with friend. Drinks and food has been great and she service was great as well. It's a nice bar.
Do not come here for food. They work together with a taco place and even though the birria tacos they offer are OK taste wise they are horribly overpriced and the service is bad.
I think if you just come in for a drink and sit at the bar your experience might be better though.
Good service and atmosphere
The bar has a good small downtown vibe craft beers out the waszoo and the whiskey to match. The food was definitely just as great as the liquor and beer. The Berea tacos where are tender and cheesy and packed with nothing but flavor. And the price was definitely under 100 a person for at least 3 hours of drinking and chatting it up with a buddy. I strongly recommend this place to anyone passing through we're here for a weekend
Decent bourbon selection, but place is sketchy as hell. Would not recommend unless you’re a towny, in which case, you wouldn’t be reading this anyway.
Nice little place. Much improved from last visit several years ago!
I have absolute no complaints I went in here with my boyfriend and got birra beef tacos oh my gosh what a way to end a night after work I highly recommend the peach cider boys on draft and also try the bottle pear cider boys in a bottle hands down the best and the bartenders every time I have come in have been so awesome and made sure I was well taken care of
Parking: It's not bad but depending on the night you might have a hard time finding a parking spot

If you enjoy the college crowd on a Friday night, this is the place for you.
We went there for an organized event of speed dating for the over 50 and 69 year olds of area singles.
Parking: We parked in a nearby Walgreens as it was free and close to BARMACY Bar.

The bar tender took my cup of water and poured it out when I purchased a water and poured it over a cup of ice. It said it wasn’t purchased here in which it was. Moments after that he then took a broom and dust pan and swept the table across from me with a broom that had been on the floor. And did not sanitize the table after doing so! Considering how popular ham trafficking is I didn’t feel comfortable drinking the drink the bartender end up bringing after pouring out my drink. I have it to my friend she said it tasted funny never will I return again!
Vegetarian options: I had 5 people with me one being vegan and could it order: Then when the guy came and threw my friend drink a way which was water we didn’t feel
Comfortable ordering. Human trafficking is popular now a days so we didn’t know if we were being targeted.

The corn could be changed to sweet corn from the frozen section. My corn was dry. Also next time offer soft taco or corn don't just automatically make soft tacos.
