Really great, high quality food. The build your own sandwich idea is really creative and they execute it very well. The penne was really good and so were the stuffed peppers, though they were spicy (I am really good with spicy food so they would be very very spicy to a no spice eater). So just beware. Will definitely be back and we recommend.

My family and I had lunch at Barrelhouse today, and everything was fantastic! The owner happened to walk in at the same time as us and greeted us so nicely — such a great first impression. Our server, Alex, was wonderful; and the server that assisted him towards the end of our meal was just as friendly and attentive as well. (Unfortunately, his name escapes me.)
We started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip (amazing flavor without being too spicy) and then we each chose BYO sandwiches. My son’s smash burger was perfect, my husband’s salmon sandwich got a big “delicious!” from him, and my grilled chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve had — juicy, flavorful, and full of great toppings.
We shared a full order of Old Bay fries (plenty for everyone!) and tried the Tempura Avocado on a whim — it was crispy, creamy, and came with a sweet soy sauce that tied it all together beautifully.
Everything was excellent — great food, friendly people, and a menu full of many creative options. We’ll definitely be back to try more!

I just happen to stumble onto this place, what a gem! Food was spot on, service was excellent. We will definitely be back. The menu was not overly large and had a great selection. My husband used the build your own burger and I ordered pierogies of the day! Both were excellent. I highly recommend you try this restaurant out.

First and last time visit. Restaurant is absolutely dirty. Bottles of liquor are sitting directly on the floor behind a black curtain behind the bar. Open pitcher of liquid (ice tea?) visible in bar refrigerator when door is opened. Serving customers from the open pitcher. It would be interesting to inspect food storage and prep in kitchen. The health department needs to inspect the bar and kitchen. Ribs served within 5 min of my order and were lukewarm. Tasted like they were microwaved and were inedible. Barmaid was serving both bar and dining room. I had one drink and no one ever asked if I wanted another. Not busy at all at 4 pm. Windows and mirrors are filthy. 2nd person arrived behind bar one hour after I arrived, served himself a beer behind the bar and gave me my check (at my request) gulping his beer in hand. NOT a good experience.
The food here is SO good! It’s probably not a place for picky eaters since they seem to use elevated and sometimes unexpected ingredients in an otherwise boring dish, but for foodies it’s perfect! The couple downsides were basically due to lack of space. My larger group came on a Saturday evening and they were almost unable to accommodate us which was annoying since we called the day before trying to make reservations but they didn’t allow. They had to put some tables together since there was already another large party there and because of that, they seemed unable to keep up with incoming guests. Our server was amazing, but he was clearly spread thin and missed some of our requests and refills. Lastly, the menu online wasn’t updated to reflect was was currently being served because something I had my heart set on was not available, but our server did his best to accommodate that which I really appreciated!

Stopped here for lunch… had the pick your sandwich components… I opted for the bowl and lettuce with the BH smash burgers, and various toppings … all toppings like jalapeños, lettuce were fresh, great blue cheese, and their fries were hot and fresh… great place!

Barrelhouse may be in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. It's a surprising nice bar and restaurant inside. The standout dish here was the French onion perogies. They are very good with a strong caramelized onion flavor coming through which is really nice mixed with the mustard sauce and sweet slaw it comes paired with. The chicken and waffles was also good the chicken breast was fried well. It wasn't dry. The waffle are very sweet but they are small so there is plenty of chicken to pair with them. Biggest downside was the fried green tomatoes shareable which is good but its $12 for 4 tomatoes which seems steap. The drinks here where really good a reasonably priced. It wasn't very busy when we arrived it was quiet and there was plenty of parking.
