I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief.
I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return.
Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!

The Worse food I have ever tasted . Food came out cold look like they just threw it in a basket. Onion rings were way over cooked and burnt. Waitress just ran around cleaning not paying attention to her customers had to ask 3 times for a glass of water. I just could not believe it was happening like this . The worst food I’ve ever tasted.

We came in for the Tuesday wing special, and ordered the margarita special too. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, we sat in the center booth on the east wall. We love it there!

We picked up four pizzas too were just raw dough. Crap had to throw them away called them. They expected us to run them back over there and I’m like too late. I already threw them in the trash. So now we’re just out $30 won’t be ordering from them again.
After I posted this the owner contacted me through facebook and is taking care it, so I wanted to change my rating to a 5 star!

Update, I did not attempt to contact the owner as she requested in her response to me from my first post but I did return once to this restaurant by myself and again with my co-workers. The wings were good those 2 times, I hope things are back to normal that was what I was hoping for with my first posting !!!! Now I’m hoping for consistency, cause I really like this place.
It’s a shame when a good Sports-bar/restaurant with good food has a cook or cooks that miss use their reputation. I recommended to one of the attorneys in our office this place for lunch he likes wings and I always liked the wings here so 4 of us from the office went. He loved the wings a week later we came back and got wings again. It was clear to us that the wings had been pre cooked halfway then when the order came in, the cook finished cooking them. Cooks do this for seed, you can tell when a cook. does that because the meat on the wings are hard to chew and they don’t taste very good . Winking Lizard is good for this. That’s why I stop going there. Other food here is good and service is great.

Absolute garbage food had the Phily’s and they were just gross. The cheese and meat mixture was horrible. Would not recommended

Jakob aka Jimmy is a great bartender he takes care of us every time we come In. I recommend coming here to see him. Also he keeps it real
