It's unfortunate that as a customer we were seated and expected the waitress to wait on us when there was only 2 customers in the café and she refused to serve us. Instead she stayed with the other two customers and applied her lip gloss on. It was very insulting and I don't want to think it was racial, but when two other customers entered of a different racial ethnicity, she was quick to help them I wish I had gotten her name. Very disappointing.

I really wanted to like this place. Our first time here, and the atmosphere is inviting, both clean and trendy. The menu is full of great options and the food looks great. When it comes to flavor there was nothing remarkable about the portion of our meals we received. (We had topped pancakes with mushy strawberries past their prime, and a western omelette) The service was epically bad. First the time for breakfast food was exceptionally long. Then the food came out with missing sides. Which if you don’t order them separately are apparently “free” and no adjustment will be made for you not getting them. In fairness they did offer them to go but we couldn’t wait any longer. They were friendly enough to refill the coffee with the bottom of the pot, because who doesn’t love grounds.
I’d give it another try if I had 2+hrs for breakfast

Food was VERY tasty! It was nice of the chef to come check and make sure my food was good. Very thoughtful I came back for lunch and had the Mango smoothie, which was also awesome!

Awesome hidden gem. Everything looks good, but I can't make it past the country fried steak.
Although the location is out of the way and the outside plaza is unassuming, the boathouse cafe is a great brunch spot. The lighting is fantastic. It provides for a great ambience and amazing photos. Additionally, the decorations and theme are consistent and add a nice visual appeal to the place.
It is small, but comfortable. The biggest draw of the place is how visually appealing it is inside. However, the food is quite good too.
I have come for brunch on several occasions and have found the crepes and waffles to be my favorites.

I went here for the first time today. It’s a small little place, but doesn’t feel cramped. It’s decorated beautifully! The food is a good price and you can tell the quality of the ingredients is good! Nice sized portions as well. The staff is great. They were busy but we were attended to very well and our coffees were kept nice and hot. The two waitresses here were so nice that that alone would give this place 5 stars from me.
