Great little hidden gem in Akron, and one of Akron’s oldest restaurants opening back in 1931! The whole atmosphere is amazing, definitely gives you the old time diner type feeling and the food is right there to back up that feeling! Definitely a must have if you’re visiting the Akron area, or if you live here yet somehow haven’t tried it!

Horrible hamburger with unseasoned meat. The mushrooms were only half fried. And the fries were cold limp and horrible
My son wanted a good burger, and why not go to the place that's been cooking them on the same grill for 90+ years! I can remember my Grandpa taking me there back in the 70's for a burger. Great fresh cut fries, and some of thr best onion rings in town! You can't go wrong with Bob's!

I started going to Bob's again fairly recently. It is hard to believe it has been a fixture there on East Avenue since 1931. My 90+year old parents used to go on dates there when they were in high school. I took a couple of my grandkids there last week. The burgers are great. Best onion rings I've ever had. Definitely a throwback to another time. And they serve breakfast.

I've been wanting to go to Bob's Hamburg for a while now but I live in austintown, finally had a chance and well worth it!!!! The double mushroom swiss burger was phenomenal!!!! Good old fashioned burger diner with awesome service and atmosphere...I definitely will drive an hour to get some more of this thanks!!!!

We found this place while looking for non-chain restaurants passing by on a road trip. The staff was awesome! The restaurant is a tiny local place that deserves to be over flowing with customers. Food was delicious. I got a great burger, fries, and a giant pickle. They had vinegar for fries!! We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the food prep.
