This place was wonderful. I can't wait to come back with my kiddos. So many video games from years gone by, and board games too. The venue it is connected to is fantastic. Loved the atmosphere. If you are in need of quick good food, or have an afternoon to kill this spot is the place to go!
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly when there aren't bands playing in The Afterlife. Would feel comfortable bringing my pre-teen here too depending on the bands plahing.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or ramps to get into the Cafe, or get around the Cafe. Good spacing between tables and other fixtures so there is plenty of room to maneuver.

This was such a neat place to catch a live show. The artwork all over is beautiful. Stage was very neat. Just very cool atmosphere here can't wait to go back

Food was great. Venue was very clean. GF commented on how beautiful the bathroom was. Men's was very clean. Not all the games worked. Free play games and pool table. Wish they would post what time the music starts on their website vs just doors open and an approximate end time. Would probably go again.

It wasn’t what I expected from the street. Thinking it was your normal type of cafe or coffee shop. Background music is heavy metal, it’s great for gamers. Plays or 80’s movies in the TV. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have an allergy to bell peppers and they left out the sweet peppers to be safe. The Ramen was soooo good. I got the High Noon and my mother got the White Night. The cold black tea is very good. Will definitely try it again.

BEST LIVE VENUE IN AKRON.. HANDS DOWN!!!! Cafe rewind has great service and amazing food and its shared by an amazing venue called the Afterlife!!!! This is a hidden gem in Akron.. A MUST GO TO PLACE.
