I love this little cafe! They are involved with the neighborhood, have a super cool interior, and yummy ramen! The free games inside are great too. I can’t wait to come to one of the shows soon! Just posting this review to boost after the loser anonymous “Defender Nation” (what a dork name lol) tried to say things not relevant to the restaurant. This spot is absolutely safe and has a wonderful mix of neighbors! Let’s support our great community!

I have watched this place grow and evolve, always offering something to come hang out for; I can honestly say this is the place I spend most of my weekends. The culture here is inviting, fun and filled with good people, good music and fun games. It’s a gem that shines in the area and I can’t wait to see this place see the attention it deserves.

This place is unique in how BAD it is.. the current owner clearly has no idea how to operate a proper business and the service was infinitely worse than his demeanor and character... they will soon be out of business you would do well to avoid this place until it closes down again..... if you do risk it bring a weapon for protection..... definitely leave your taste buds at home, they will not be happy...

Came in from Dayton for work, looking for something different and found Cafe Rewind...food was amazing... the only downside is if you want a soda it has to be ordered separate from the food and paid separate at the bar.

It's got an industrial feel, a glass Jabba the Hutt on the counter, and heavy metal as the ambience music. The counter staff are friendly guys - absolutely fit the scene. I really like the place and hope it succeeds. I have been in twice for coffee and tea. Hoping to make a show soon.

the food does not match the unique atmosphere of the establishment. i ordered their edamame assuming it would be your standard steamed bowl of edamame pods that youd get at any japanese restaurant. instead it was a sad serving of edamame beans lightly lining the bottom of the container with cutie orange slices on top for some reason. i payed 5 dollars which is robbery. then my friend ordered their gaia udon bowl and was also underwhelmed, saying that the veggies were raw and broth was bland. we both felt like we had wasted money. so in short, enjoy the establishment’s entertainment and vibe but don’t bother with the food.

I've been to CR twice to take a crew of teenagers to play games and hang out for some music. We also ate some food the second time we went there. The crew that I bring enjoys it all and the bonus is that I get to relax, play games and listen to tunes as well! It has a clean atmosphere and a cool vibe for most anyone.

Easily one of the coolest places to go chill. The food is great, all the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. And the games. BAH GAWD THE GAMES. NES, SNES, Genesis, Arcade games, PS1, PS2, GameCube, Wii, there's a station for almost anything you could hope to play. They even host tournaments. And then there's LIVE MUSIC! Some of the shows are even free! An absolute must-visit establishment.
