Chill Artisan Ice Cream

My fiancé and I have been to this location several times. The staff is always really helpful with trying new flavors and always have a great attitude. The flavors are always good, even the unorthodox ones I wouldn't normally try.

I go here often, but this time I went I had Aja helping me. She is incredible! Helpful, so kind, and had the most awesome ice cream suggestion. I got an Ube flavored pint and I do not regret it at all. 10/10, thanks Aja!!!!

By far the tastiest ice cream around. This place is a real local gem, everything is made fresh from locally sourced products. The kiwi sorbet is so refreshing it is to die for.

Had Chill on my list for a while and finally made it in. Did not disappoint! Great service and great ice cream. So many interesting and unique flavors to try, I'll be back to try more soon! Got three pints to go, Lavender honey, Coffee maple and a vegan PB cup. All were delicious! Highly recommend! Gotta love the pint containers too.

Gourmet icecream with exotic flavors. You won't believe the quality and flavor combinations. The server/manager was so patient. Thanks for the experience.

I enjoy their diversity in vegan ice-cream and the ability to taste test before purchasing. Also that the choices frequently change. I had the vegan Oreo ice-cream which was good.

If you’re looking for vegan ice cream this is NOT your place. The service was absolutely horrendous on top of horrible ice cream. I do not recommend spending your money here.

UPDATE (July 16, 2023 at 5:30 pm): I decided to visit again (the Akron location) for National Ice Cream day and was provided with a lukewarm greeting. The customer service at THIS location has steadily declined over time since the owner has been frequenting his other locations, striving to expand his business. There was an employee who was in training who had a great personality and was very helpful and friendly. However, it was the lack of consideration from the more experienced employee that left me with a bad impression of this location and the strong inclination to not return. During every visit at each location that I've been to, I've asked for a 2 flavor pint and requested that the flavors be placed side-by-side instead of on top of each other. This allows for both flavors to be enjoyed together. This was initially encouraged by the owner and has since then been supported by employees during every visit. Today's visit was a vastly different experience. When I requested the side-by-side flavors, the more experienced employee interrupted me to state this CANNOT be done and to emphasize that they don't have dividers. While I tried to explain that this is something routinely done, (and to help instruct the new employee how this has been accomplished with no need for a divider), the seasoned employee repeated the fact that there are no dividers and proceeded to instruct the new employee to disregard my request. To make things easier for the new employee who was serving me, I chose not to pursue the matter in the store further. I believe this location's employees are sorely in need of retraining; this was not an outlandish request, and this was a missed learning opportunity for both employees. It's unfortunate that customer service can hurt an already painfully slow business day and, in the long-term, hurt the influx of customers to the downtown Akron location.

The lavender honey is amazing and the owner is very friendly! Will DEFINITELY be coming back and have already "recommended to a friend"!
