The employees at the Highland Square location are honestly so rude and miserable. I understand working in fast food is not the most wonderful thing, but the people who work there are mean! Flat out. I work in hospitality so I know it can be hard. I try to be kind to people I cross paths with and they seem upset you came in let alone spoke to them. Like, what? Dude, I’m just saying hello, asked how you were. Sorry, my bad. This is not a once in while thing. It’s the vibe nearly every time. It’s so common that it’s strange when you do get that one employee who is nice. Anyways, I’ve lived in the area a while. it’s convenient and when it’s good, it’s good. But it has definitely gone downhill over the years, quality of the food and the service. I’m not one to leave reviews because honestly, I don’t care enough to do so lol but today was the last straw. This location needs someone to come in and work with the employees. Simple customer service goes a long way. New management maybe. I understand they must have some annoying, rude people come through there but come on…you can tell when someone is being a problem and when they’re not. Act accordingly. They act like people coming in and ordering food is an inconvenience for them. I am writing this review in hopes of a change at this location, because after what I experienced today I will not be going back. Which really sucks because I like chipotle. Just not what you have to deal with to get it. And you HAVE to go in because if you order online 9 times out of 10 there’s going to be something wrong. This review is mad long, but y’all get the gist. If you want chipotle that’s consistently good (warm, not sloppily thrown together)and where you don’t have to deal with attitude to get it, go elsewhere. I usually only want chipotle when I’m being lazy and montrose is a bit too far to venture out just for chipotle, in my opinion. But, if it’s worth it for you, go to Montrose or portage crossings instead.

I came at 10:35pm 3/16/24 and the restaurant door was locked. Employees was inside cleaning up very disappointed when it’s posted on the door and online that this location closes at 11 PM.

I just left this facility. The guy that waited on me was very rude.Its as if he wanted to rush me and they weren't busy at all. The two Sistas were very nice and accommodating. They made sure I had everything I asked for. My bowl was 12 dollars fine plus a 4 dollar tip which I don't mind at all..but atleast I feel if I'm spending my money I'm entitled to what I like. They need to do better.But ty to the 2 Sistas for your great service

I just want to preface this by saying I’m not one to normally complain about my food, even if it’s made incorrectly, but this experience was a bit ridiculous. I placed an online pickup order and did not check my items before I walked out. I realized once I got to my car I did not receive my drink so I went back in and got it. Then I drove home realized I did not receive my large chips and queso so I drove back and the staff was apologetic and gave me my chips/queso and gave me a free drink which I greatly appreciated. I then drove back home to realize I did not receive either of my tortillas, and at this point I was so frustrated/hungry I didn’t bother going back. Should I have checked to make sure I received all my items after I noticed my drink was missing? Yes I probably should have and that was my mistake. But I just don’t understand how my order was bagged and handed out with HALF of it missing? We’ve had issues with this chipotle before this order so we definitely will not be returning and definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

First off extra cheese and sour cream is not an upcharge . The first cup of Vinaigrette is free. I’m pissed cause they only tried DoorDash like that. When I come in I get my order with no issue. Giving me a rice serving for a toddler. I’m calling cooperate!!!!!!!

Waited for assembler flitting around back and he did not wash his hands after wiping assembly board off with a dirty cloth. Then didn't make my bowl as requested twice. Very bad experience.

workers stressed within the first hour of operation they were out of every kind of salsa because they said they had a huge catering order (which is always placed 24 ahead of time so they can prepare) and when i got to the line i asked how long it would take to make salsa, and was told that they cant make salsa because of people in line. i asked if they would be able to comp some guac in replacement of having no salsas, or be able to double my meat and they replied that they cant do anything for customers just because there is no salsa. as i approached the end of the line i saw them making online orders and had all of the salsas available. i thought online ordering was garbage before because chipotle does not link with door dash even though they use door dash to deliver and i had three orders stolen/lost by the drivers. apparently ordering online is the way to go and do pick up because if you are in the store you have no priority to the workers
