I’m writing because what I witnessed today at this location was absolutely unacceptable. One of the male employees who had dreads and was rather heavyset was speaking shockingly rude and aggressively to a female worker. Loud enough for the entire establishment to hear. He told her to “go to the back” and threatened to send her home if she didn’t, in a tone that was condescending, humiliating, and downright gross and stopped her in the middle of serving us.
Let me be very clear: no man should ever speak to a woman like that, especially not in a workplace, especially not in front of customers. It was very uncomfortable and upsetting to see. And honestly should’ve been embarrassing for him. The fact that he felt comfortable talking to her that way in public says a lot about how unchecked his behavior must be behind the scenes.
I don’t know what kind of culture he thinks he’s a part of, but it’s definitely not something customers want to witness. Chipotle employees should feel safe, respected, and supported not bullied by a male coworker who clearly has no business supervising anyone.
I hope this is addressed immediately, because the behavior I saw today was beyond inappropriate and reflects terribly on the stores management and environment.

Waited in line and get to order and the associate never said one word to me. Just Looking expecting me to order. No greeting, no nothing and they all look mad. So I begin to order and find out afterwards they have zero corn and zero cheese. Then I ask if they are giving discounts for not having these items well prior to them closing (over an hour) and the response is no. So they then begin speaking about how much the brand has made today as if it’s going in their pockets. You don’t own chipotle, You just work there. So I left. Not ordering anything I don’t want. Corn is one thing but no cheese is wild. Falling off big time and I won’t be back.

Bruh every time I order online from this chipotle, I order a bowl with extra rice and even extra chicken sometimes.. it’s like they read the opposite of what the sticker says. My bowl is NEVER full. If anything, they half the portions when they read the word “extra” every.single.time. I’ve been to this spot over 20 times and it’s the same bs. This is the only chipotle I’ve gone to in Akron and it’s always so pitiful. I never have issues with getting extra portions at any other chipotle. I really have an hard time figuring out why the lines are always packed at this location it’s a shame. Not to mention one time I chose to go in and order because of the 4 bite portions they serve to make sure I was getting the right amount he had the nerve to look at me crazy after I asked for him to give me more rice after he put a tsb of rice after I asked for extra… are these workers TRAINED to be stingy with the food they’re not paying for?? im so confused… this location is a sad/10 for me

Someone submit a maintenance request and figure out the thermostat for goodness sake. Absolutely freezing during the summertime and sweating while waiting during the winter.
Other than being unbearable to eat and wait, food and service is hit or miss.

I frequent this location often and usually have a positive experience. Today was an exception. The workers all seemed upset and stressed, as I witnessed their manager REPEATEDLY yell at and demean them regarding the amount of food being used on the line in front of customers. These are conversations to have AFTER your busy lunch rush, not DURING, and IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS at that! It was very unprofessional and left a bad perception and impression on me. Honestly I’ll probably take my business to QDoba up the street since the vibes at this Chipotle were bad. Also the chips were stale. Get it together please.

Well went from a five-star down to a two below is the previous review this place has gone to hell staff is eating while preparing food messing around trash all over the floor there were six people in the back and only two up front headway to long time for carryout I normally would have given it a one-star because of somebody eating while handing food to people IE carryout but because it was a five-star before I gave it a 2 star
All Chipotles are great this one here on West Market in Montrose West Akron is very friendly and very fast in the food quality is excellent tastes very fresh I highly recommend this location!

Order a vegie bowl and three tortillas, they failed to keep meat out of the bowl as we found a couple pieces of steak in it and the tortillas were burritos sizes not ya know taco size as requested. Worst service at any chipotle tbh do not go to this location :(
