Stopped by Coventry Diner for breakfast, hoping for a solid start to the day. I ordered over-medium eggs and their so-called “homemade” hash. What I got were eggs cooked so hard they could bounce, and “hash” that was basically some fried potatoes trying to disguise themselves with a few lonely bits of corned beef and a cameo appearance by onion.
The service? Let’s call it politely indifferent. My server seemed fine until she noticed I wasn’t touching my food, then suddenly I felt like I was the problem.
Overall, this experience didn’t live up to expectations, and I’ll probably skip Coventry Diner for breakfast in the future.
Stopped in on a Wednesday and had their special, which was a fish dinner (perch) that was delicious.
Nice place. I had a burger with mushrooms, onions, and swiss and onion rings on the side. They where both delicious.
The homefries are really good....but had bland biscuits and the worst sausage gravy I've ever had....super bland....sausage links are bland too.
The Staff very Friendly, the atmosphere is good the food is good their Sausage Gravy is not the Best It’s more like Sausage soup needs to be creamier & thicker
Not. Not A Friendly place at All.
Walked in at 12:10 and saw only 2 people and thought crap this must not be good. Was I wrong, yea the atmosphere was not exceptional but the fish as seen was really, really good. My friend order breakfast which is served all day. The ham slice was a good portion with his eggs cooked just like he wanted. I didn’t order coffee but my friend did and he drank 3-1/2 cups and he is pretty finicky about coffee so it must have been good.
It's my go to place. Somehow they made it through covid and we are all better off for it. The staff are all my friends and almost family.
Early dinner on a Friday. The coffee was a little strong. Coconut shrimp was good. Friend ordered breakfast. She thought the fried potatoes were lacking flavor. Gravy was very thin and tasteless. Nice and friendly. Waitress made a fresh pot of coffee

Burger was super juicy and cooked to perfection! Ordered the gyro burger and the gyro complimented perfectly. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and it was loaded with bacon! Highly recommend
Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating to my dairy free, soy free allergy

Delicious breakfast and lunch! Fries were so good. Waffle was excellent. A nice place to stop in and grab a bite. Appreciated the attentiveness on refilling coffee. Loved the fishing and boat decor. 9/10 for this place! Triple yum!!! ?

Saw this small restaurant in the plaza, so figured I’d give it a try.
My order was the gyro meat, three eggs and pita breakfast, on average, that’s pretty much all it was though. The eggs were a bit overcooked than ordered and appeared to be eggs one would purchase from a grocery supply, the gyro meat was that in which one would purchase from a commercial supplier and the pita was easy to identify coming from a supplier. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t rate the restaurant as one of my personal favorites or anything spectacular, but should one be looking for a basic restaurant in satisfying their hunger, this establishment would suffice.
