Old diner in Kenmore area in Akron. Friendly service, inexpensive, very good food. If you looking for a fancy restaurant, this isn't it. But if you like old neighborhood charm and friendly locals then it's a great place to go.
I did not get anything to eat. When I walked in, I saw the sign CASH ONLY. I normally do not carry cash on me. There is NO ATM on site. I didn't feel like driving to get cash and come back. Maybe the next time I'm in the area and have cash, I'll stop in.
Hands-down, one of the best diners I have ever been to. Quick service, excellent classic diner food (made the right way), and the most attentive staff. Prices are decent too. Most of the menu is a la carte but the portions are huge! Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy!
