On November 17th my boyfriend and I sat for breakfast for the first time here with a friend and had a bill of about $35. At checkout, the cashier was extremely rude. We paid with 2 $25 Visa Giftcards that were a gift to us. Both had verified amounts of $25 each. The cashier used the entire balance on both cards, and told us there was a remaining balance of about $15, which we had to ask our friend to cover because we didn’t bring our other assets. After talking to a manager on duty she ran both cards again saying they declined. I’ve confirmed with Visa that Farmer Boy in fact did credit both visas the entire balance of the cards.

I went here with a group after an event for a late breakfast. They were able to accommodate our fairly large, last minute group arrival quickly and efficiently. We had a wonderful waitress that was totally on the ball with order accuracy and customer service. The food came out quickly. It was fresh, but a little bland for my liking. Just my opinion. Overall a great experience and my taste opinion should not sway anyone from trying this restaurant. The service and menu variety make it worth a try and I cannot say that I won't go back and try other menu options.

I ordered food to go. Everything tastes like sewer water. Akron water, blah. They need to filter their water in their food!!

My daughter and I stopped in for brunch on a Saturday. Our server was wonderful. The food was wonderful. Everything was great until we went to check out. The young lady checking us out was extremely rude and then when I called to complain(we are a black family) I asked to speak to the manager I explained to her the incident and the young lady has been complained about before per the manager I spoke to she was trying to figure out who we were and proceeded to say, were you the darker colored people that just left? Seriously. Never again.
Love this place! Has that old fashioned diner feel! Got the steak & eggs and it was awesome! My dad got the Hillbilly breakfast and was impressed!

Comfort foods in a home style dining room. Reasonable prices. The broasted chicken was moist although a little overcooked breading. A nice helping of fried potatoes but the salad only had basic lettuce, shredded carrot and two grape tomatoes (the balsamic dressing was tasty). The fried Pollock fish was undercooked/not crispy breading (took it home to finish up in the air fryer). Nice knot dinner rolls.

Was out running errands and decided to stop at Farmer Boys...hadn't been there in years. They had exactly what I was hungry for on the menu, and at a very reasonable price.
Carried out fish and chips. It was all cold and looked like it was sitting for a long time.

I've passed this place a few times, and I'm so glad I finally stopped. Generous portions and wonderful corned beef hash, fair prices and exceptional service. What more could I want? Highly recommended.

My husband and I stopped in this morning for breakfast. We haven't been here in a few years, but remembered their breakfast was delicious. No regrets with our decision because it most definitely was a great breakfast (and to think we almost ate at IHOP). We both got the French Hillbilly breakfast. It is SO much food for $10.99. 2 Eggs, 2 French Toast, 2 Sausage Links, 2 Strips of Bacon, 2 Pieces of Toast, and a huge portion of Hash Browns. It was fresh, hot, and fulfilling after a busy morning getting the kids ready for their first day if school. Our server was wonderful too. It was all a reminder that we need to come here more often.
