Today was my first time in this restaurant, I was excited to try a new diner! Well, my expectations of this diner were more than exceeded. My son had very suddenly gotten ill, obviously not the most ideal place for this to happen but unfortunately life can happen in the worst moments. Even with a restaurant full of customers all of the servers jumped to help. These were the kindest group of strangers I’ve ever come across. In the midst of this our food arrived and they packaged...

We have been eating at Fred's since the late 90's. We loved going in to eat the most delicious food and visiting with Fran, Ruth, and Theresa. We watched Jenna grow up and start a family of her own. Three years ago, we moved out of state after spending 20 years in Akron/Tallmadge. We continually talk about how much we miss Fred's. In Maine, they think bacon is 2 slices!? Delighted to say we made a quick trip home this weekend and got to go to the ever busy Fred's...

Awesome food and a fun staff you can always count on and you're in and out just the way they want it lol. We go every weekend. Breakfast, lunch, it's all good. if you sit at the bar just be prepared to love thy neighbor bc it's a tight fit. But that's what makes it a throw back. It's a really great place. Too bad they aren't 24/7.

Parking: Lots of space. Adjacent gravel and paved near the building.
