This is a local favorite. Decor is old but food and service great. No wait list. Just keep track of who is in front of you when you arrive. A lot of food for a great value. Free coffee or soda before 9AM

I called it in and 6 minutes later it was ready to go. Fred's is hands down the best diner in town. Whether you get it to go or dine in...always on top of their game. 30 years (circa '95 to present day 2025) and I've never had a bad experience. 💯

On my lunch today I decided to treat myself, I've heard rating reviews about Fred's diner I decided to try for myself today. It gives you that Old Town diner feel. I found a spot myself as the waitresses were quite busy. I had the joy of trying the chicken fried steak, by the way from the time I ordered it it was on my table within 5 minutes. Food was very tasty and all the condiments ketchup everything you could need was already on the table.
