On my lunch today I decided to treat myself, I've heard rating reviews about Fred's diner I decided to try for myself today. It gives you that Old Town diner feel. I found a spot myself as the waitresses were quite busy. I had the joy of trying the chicken fried steak, by the way from the time I ordered it it was on my table within 5 minutes. Food was very tasty and all the condiments ketchup everything you could need was already on the table.

Family was having a rough day and needed some comfort food. Wow lemme tell ya we picked the right place! It's like a slice out of time. You feel like you went back and are sittin in a diner you remember as a kid. The food is FANTASTIC and everyone that was working was so friendly. I highly recommend any breakfast item with bacon. You get a LOT haha.

Fred's is an old school lunch counter and diner in the best way. Breakfast is absolutely their specialty, but I haven't found a bad thing on the menu yet. Most recently I got the fried bologna sandwich and an order of onion rings, and it was everything I wanted and more. The sandwich was piled high, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy. Seating is limited - the last time I stopped by, the line was out the door - but service is quick, and I didn't wait more...
