Employees are incredibly rude and drunk
Very fun place
Check you tabs because I was charged for 4 drinks when I had 1 and a bag of chips!
The bartender, DeVille, argued with me and plainly admitted I did not order the drinks but he had added them to my tab anyway!
My sister and I are in Akron helping out an ill relative and discovered the Getaway.Fabulous burger ( and onion rings) , a tasty chicken wrap, excellent service, friendly staff and patrons, and a reasonable check. Most likely it is a bit too lively ( and noisy) at night for our tastes, but for lunch, it was just right. Made our week-- actually two weeks.
I am the traveler. Hanging out here at the Getaway. The Beams are playing, Rockin the House. Everyone is super nice, and mature. Even though it is packed. Truly hidden gem for live music. Stop by shake a hand and introduce yourself. Next thing you know your family.
The Akron Burger was absolutely amazing. Melty cheese and a great contrast between the BBQ sauce and tartar sauce. An awesome burger.
Been here twice and everyone is really nice. The staff make sure to take care of you and not put up with any ruckus.

Amazing service! I only had a sprite but they were very kind/inviting, and there was great music selection. Clean, cool place. Worth a visit
