Our pizza was delicious. We had their best pizza and we devoured it in under a hour after we got it home. I would buy it again for dang sure!

We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to GIONINO’S in the Valley who supported our recent Stuff-A-Bus donation drive. Their collective generosity and support made a significant impact, and we are so thankful for their partnership in our mission to support our local community.Warmest regards,Matthew Stacy Mize & Fairlawn area businesses

While the pizza and chicken was passable, my experience was marred by opaque billing practices and subpar customer service. Not only did the establishment levy concealed credit card fees, but the drivers also conveniently carried no change—implicitly coercing patrons into giving larger tips. When I confronted a manager about the undisclosed credit card fee, I was met with an unsatisfactory response: they claimed that a notice about the fee was displayed on the in-store soda machine, a useless detail for those who opt for delivery service. I find these practices highly questionable and will not be patronizing this location in the future.

Have been going to this location for over 20 years. Called in to order for delivery and was told the address I was at was not serviceable. Understandable bc I was closer to the Montrose location, but their food and service is subpar. Went to order my food today and was told one total which was extremely high, then told I need to put a card on file to "hold" while my food is being prepared and that is new company policy bc others order food and don't pick them up. I ask the person over the phone if the card will be charged, and they say no. Minutes later, I'm charged for an order $3 more then what was stated, even though I made it clear I would pay my total IN CASH bc there's nothing on the website OR POSTED stating only credit cards are taken . I was then told I could pick up the food, pay AGAIN in cash, then have the charge voided back to my card which is ridiculous bc everyone knows that takes multiple business days when done on a weekend. Not a good experience at all from customer service to the business practices. I know we are all going through it living in this pre recession, but if you no longer desire to give good customer service or experiences in 2023 best bet is to throw in the towel when available.

I've been going here once a week atleast for 3 years. Everytime I call, no matter the total, they ask for a credit card over the phone. I explain I'm picking it up and I'm paying cash and they say ok. I go get my food with no issues most of the time. However , today the owner answers and requests a card over the phone, though they have my name and phone number on file and know me by name . I said I don't give my card over the phone; she told me to come in and order my food and sit and wait for it ??? Not sure if she is just having a bad day or what, but this will be the last time I spend my money there.. unprofessional, rude as hell owner(I've watched multiple times as she verbally abuses the young 12-13 year old kids she has working in there ) GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION, DONT SUPPORT HER SPRAY TANS ANYMORE I spend 50-70$ 1-2 times a week there , NOT ANYMORE ‍papa John's here we come

Went to the location on canton rd in lakemore. We got an 8 piece chicken and Joe Joe's. My wife peels the skin from one of the breasts and it's hard. Full of undone breading. Not just one breath, but both. I call and just give them a heads up. The guy on the phone gets rude. So I take it up and show him. He said this isn't our chicken ir breading. Like I have multiple pieces of chicken from different places. Just to make up something. I asked for nothing in return. Just to let them know.

I really want to give this location a good review, but I just can’t. The pizza is good, the jojos are good, anything else I just can’t trust. I’ve order a variety of things from the through the years, I like to try what’s on their menu, but I have not been impressed by anything else. Mostly dissatisfied. I’ve gotten their Buffalo wings and they are undercooked and swimming in sauce. They’re actually really good if you air fry them for a few minutes at home, haha. I’ve tried their meatballs, various salads, fried chicken, a couple of the subs, all of which are blah. The owner has always been nice to me. Direct, no f-ing around, but nice. One of those people who are like “here’s what I have, take it or leave it”, and I find that entertaining and as someone who has worked in the industry I find it refreshing.

Love other locations but this one us terrible. Woman who is usually there is rude and they BARELY sauce their wings. Literally a drizzle of sauce. Just go to another one.

They never answer their phone. I gave up a year ago. I go to the Munroe Falls location. Always answer their phone, fast and friendly, excellent food. This location needs to just shut down.

This is for the Gionino's in The Valley on Portage path. I have never walked into a cleaner pizza shop. I was so impressed that I had to take a pic. If you are not familiar with Gionino's and like pepperoni. Might I suggest my go to. The Piccolo. The coleslaw and fried chicken are good too. Delivery starts at 5, otherwise it's takeout. There is a lunch special. $5 small one topping.
