Ordered through DoorDash. Ordered a couple pizzas, one was green pepper only. Order arrived before the requested time frame so it got cold before we could eat. Then upon opening the pizzas, the green pepper only pizza wasn't right. They had put double pepperoni on it instead.

Tried to get a refund through DoorDash, but Gionino's had not marked the order as delivered and complete so had to contact them. Guy who answered looked up my order then had me talk to the manager. Manager couldn't comprehend and said he couldn't find my order. I told him the first guy could because he read it to me! Finally found it and offered to remake the pizza, but I just wanted a refund by that point. Then was told they don't close out orders until they close, meaning I had to wait a day before trying to report to DoorDash again.

Got an 8 piece chicken. Just so everyone knows, they cut the filet from the breast. The breast is smaller than the thigh and they charge 22 dollars for it.

I ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner. What I received was a 2 piece chicken dinner. So I called to let them know that I did not receive what I had ordered. I was told that they would correct it and send me the four piece chicken dinner and I should have it in 20 minutes. 47 minutes later I decide to call again because it is getting close to closing time and the same guy answered and said something about pickup. At no point of our earlier conversation did either of us say anything about picking anything up, I was trying to enjoy my evening with my daughter and my grandkids. At the end of that conversation the guy on the phone stated he will get it to me as soon as he can, it is now after close and I still have not received my order. I frequent this place a lot, hardly have issues. I have spent a lot of money here and it is incredibly disappointing that I can even get 4 pieces of chicken in a box for dinner.

I usually don't leave reviews. If I don't like it, I simply just find another place that offers the same thing. Gioninos is one of my all-time favorites , but this particular one needs some help from the other franchises in the area. The fried chicken is off, the jo Jo's, are off and the two pizzas ordered were so over cooked the suace was evaporated out of them. Toppings were barely edible. The finished product isn't the same as the gioninos of Norton, Cuyahoga falls, Springfield, or any other gioninos I've had before. Same taste, just everything seemed over cooked so probably something simple or maybe just cuaght them on a bad day I dunno

Seems like everytime I order something is not right .. too expensive for them not to fix something they messed up for FREE they want you to pay extra for it to be done the right way you originally asked for !! This is the last time I give them any of my money I’ll drive across Akron to get something better and I will yell it from the rooftops how horrible their customer service is !

I wouldn't eat here if I were you. I don't know what has happened in the past year, but the food is getting worse every time I order from here. I called today after getting my food to make a complaint. I spoke with Seth the manager, and he couldn't have cared less! I've been a customer for roughly 6-8 years, but that didn't matter. It is what it is! So long Gionino's!

One of the best things about going home to visit is the food, hands down! This trip, however, I actually left unsatisfied. It seems that the local establishments are falling off and being replaced by chains. The staples that are nostalgic for me are no longer delicious like Swensons, Gino's, and Rizzi's, but today we talk about Gionino's. What happened?

On Friday the 30th I ordered my usual from Gionino's on Main St at 2:00 pm. I picked it up via the drive-thru and was met by a man who
C-L-E-A-R-L-Y didn't want to be bothered. He wasn't friendly, didn't smile, didn't say hi, and acted as if I asked for his first born when I requested plates and napkins and proceeded to serve my the OLDEST AND GREASIEST PIZZA EVER!!! Ain't no WAY that pizza was made fresh! Then it was completely orange and covered with grease on the bottom and the very end of Luke warm. It was just a dead pizza, and there's NO WAY POSSIBLE they didn't know this! Just took my money and played in my face! ANNNND I TIPPED $3.00 SO I WASTED $18.00 ON DEAD PIZZA TRYING TO SUPPORT A LOCAL BUSINESS!!! They're extremely lucky that I was on my way to Cleveland Hopkins to fly back to Florida, or I would have come back and DEMANDED a refund! I dumped that grease bucket at the gas station and flew out. I'm HIGHLY disappointed!! I included the screenshots of the time of the order and what I paid, INCLUDING the tip! If ya'll respond to these reviews, REFUND ME MY MONEY! The order was under the name Cherie, the last 4 digits of my ph# 5046. Do the right thing and have some integrity and pride in what you're serving and the community that you serve and that supports you.

I saw the worker using his hands, no gloves putting all the toppings on a pizza. I told them I didn't want mines anymore and I would never go back after 15 years I am done.

Why do you guys suck so bad??? Do not go here! Every other location is better, i believe the management should just quit, we literally went here every weekend for years then just sucks now. Very sad, don't waste time nor money. Done

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years with my entire family, and I ordered a half sausage pizza and the other left with no meat (being vegetarian with food alergies), I specifically asked the cooks to make sure there wasent any meat on the other side of the pizza because it can make me extremely sick. After spending $30 and picking up the pizza, I tried to pick the multiple pieces of pepperoni and sausage off my side of the pizza, to then consume meat after being vegetarian for 13 years. I called Terry the manager, and he told me to bring the pizza back in to make a new one and treated me very horribly over the phone as if I was unconvincing him. He told me that “he made the pizza and didn’t put sausage on that side and he would apply a 9 dollar credit on my account” after spending over $30. I am disgusted with the way the manager talked to me and disrespected me on the phone and told me I was wrong. I’m also really upset for spending my hard earned money to a company who DOES NOT ACCOMMODATE TO ALLERGIES AND VEGETARIANS. It’s unfortunate that my bad expiernces with the pizza and poor customer service from Terry will be stopping me and my family from ordering to this pizza place on our movie nights. Highly recommend Dechecos or Luigi’s!
