We went here after we viewed the 2024 eclipse and we were pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem! Best Mac n cheese I've had! Everything tastes homemade. We got the crab cakes, locally sourced filet mignon, and hummus. Everythign was fairly priced and delicious!Parking: There was limited parking, maybe 10 spaces total

My sis and I were craving some corn beef and cabbage. I regret to say it was the blandest tasting corn beef, and vegetables were even worse. The meat and veggies were obviously not cooked together (understandable for a restaurant), but the veggies tasted like they were cooked in chicken broth with no spices. We returned our food. The staff was super nice and accommodating ( they didn't charge us and offered to get us something else).I'm not going to hold it against a steak place for bad St. Patty's Day corn beef and cabbage, and I will give them another try. The atmosphere was low-key this particular day, but it looked like they have live entertainment as there was a piano in the dining area.

Hidden Gem. Great name, but it is off the main street, 224, a tad. Not to worry, you'll enjoy great food served by a wonderful staff. I'm working through the menu and everything so far is top shelf. Very enjoyable experience to dine here. Enjoy.

I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. The Parmesan Risotto and the Strawberry Whiskey Smash. My husband had the Rodeo Burger and fries. We also had the hot chocolate cake with ice cream and caramel and chocolate drizzle. (No picture) The bacon is thick and smoky, great taste, but no crispness. The chicken was tender and not dry. The batter was light, which was nice. I really dislike having chicken with over powering batter or breading on it. Then spending half my dinner taking it apart. The Risotto was flat tasting. I added salt and it was much better. Just as a side note, I am not the biggest fan of salt. The strawberry in the drink was so smashed up that I wondered if I needed a strainer to drink it. I wished it was more whiskey, less sugar. But that's my preference. It was very sweet. My husband wanted the vaccine to be crisp at least a little. He thought it would have made the sandwich more enjoyable. The hot chocolate cake was great. It's not a thick piece, but approximately 5" in length. It had 4 small scoops of ice cream with chocolate and caramel drizzle. Plenty for sharing. The restaurant was cold. I heard others complain about the temperature also. We had to wear our jackets.

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere leaves more to be desired, but there is potential. The service earned the 3rd star because if it was just about the food, I would have to give this place a 2. First off, the Ribeye was thinner than any cut I have seen, which tells me it's a less expensive cut for the restaurant cost. That's fine because you pay by the weight. What was disappointing was nothing had flavor. My wife had to salt her steak, which she never does when we go out because you simply don't need to normally. My fish was not fried to my liking... it was not crispy at all. Now, anyone who has ever had fried fish at a restaurant knows that the breading or batter needs to be seasoned and crispy. The staff did their best. The chef made a new piece of fish (I took to go) and made sure it was fried right... but still absolutely no flavor. Just a giant piece of fish and no real taste. I was very disappointed. My wife was disappointed. The only good thing was the loaded potato balls. I do not recommend... but if you do eat here, stick with appetizers and sandwiches. I feel if I had just gotten a bacon burger I would have been better off because even if the meat wasn't seasoned, all the other stuff on the burger would provide flavor. I probably will not return.
