Was on hold for 8 minutes, then called back it rang for ever so I just drove over and found the kid that was answered the phone was in the parking lot talking to his friends. Been ordering from here for 30 years. Service is not the same as it once was. They could not make jojo's due to the lack of breading. The only reason I order from here is the food is on point when they get it right.

This place is a local place on Brown St in Akron. The food is always good when you get it.However when I ordered the chicken the young man on the phone said that he would replace thighs with legs as we don't like thighs.When I got there the owner was very nice and very polite.When the chicken was done he gave it to me.When he gave me the chicken they did not do that.Son be honest on the phone and don't tell me Something will be done when it's not. Sad. The owner has a sign up Help wanted.NOW I SEE WHY.IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A JOB CHECK IT OUT. GREAT OWNER NEEDS SOME GREAT HELP.

Waited on hold for over 25 minutes just to place the order (As I was driving back to Akron while I was in Cleveland). When I pulled into the parking lot to place my order as I was still on hold one of their employees (The one who answered the phone call and placed me on hold) was standing in the parking lot having a conversation with his girl. When I informed the other employee that I was still on hold for over 25 minutes and showed him my phone he blamed the phone system but while I was standing there another call came in right after I ended my call and an order was placed. Absolutely the worst customer service. An apology didn't even come. Will not be ordering from this location ever.

I see reviews of people saying they grew up on this place. Well I happen to be one of those. Over 40 years . Use to be fantastic. THe last 10-15 years it’s really gone down hill. Kids working there don’t know how to cook or customer service. Their attitudes are terrible. Parking lot is atrocious and has been for years. THe last two times I ordered from here... I picked up and had to wait over 30 minutes extra both times. The pizzas has almost no Sauce and barely cooked. Kids didn’t even care. Just a shame. This place use to be the best . And I mean the best place .

Used to come here with my family back when I was young. Now it seems to be under new management that really doesn’t care. The pizza has always been great. However, the chicken is the worst chicken in Akron. They fry it at such a high temp that when it comes out, it’s bone dry and raw. Really disappointed. This place used to be good.

This location just lost a long time customer. Must be new under new management or something. Ordered their typical lasagna dinner (usually priced 7.95-great deal and comes with salad).However, the person answering the phone said it was $ 10.95. After I told her it was Thursday special she said Oh yea, 7.95). When picking up order I inquired about the little tossed salad and she said they no longer come with dinner. I asked who was in charge and some young man, told me the same thing. I point to their flyer next to the register which listed the special comes with salad and he said it was no longer applies. I told him it equates to "false advertisement". Asked who the manager was and he reluctantly said someone named Sheila after several inquires. He did not know how to handle the situation or had any authority to offer a discount since full order was provided as advertised. Overall, poor customer service and the food has gone downhill in the last two months. Don't see them staying open much longer with their attitude and increase prices.

Long time customer of Italos in Akron. Recently, however, we have run into the issue of placing a chicken, jojo, and coleslaw order and upon arrival to pick it up being told by the workers that they are out of chicken. If this was a one time thing I would chalk it up to bad luck. However, this is the 3rd time it has happened in as many months. It is a shame Italos has gone down hill so much. In this day and age there should not be this kind of error

I wouldn't even give them 1star....we ordered from there because I got a coupon and decided we would like to try a new pizza shop close to home. I accidentally forgot my coupon at home even though I had told them I had one when I ordered. They refused to give me the discount. Ok my fault but most places would still give you the discount but they charged me $10.00 more. They said my chicken wasn't done so I had to wait on it. Then another 5minutes for them to get the coleslaw that came with my order. Then when I got home the pizza was NOT what I ordered, and it was completely COLD. The chicken was so dry you couldn't chew it. PLEASE don't ever order from here because I surely wouldn't.

I purchased the vouchers off Groupon that was redeemable for $20 of food. Voucher says that you can use 2 but the ones working said no. I had ordered chicken. So on top of not letting me use them both the kid over charged me and had to refund me money. After waiting 1 hour for the chicken it was nasty. Greasy, a hair cooked in one piece and just plain nasty. There was a bunch of young (kids) immature people working in there. I won’t be using the last voucher that I have instead I will be contacting Groupon for a refund.

Always on the hunt for good pizza when traveling. If your local it may be what you like, but for me personally this place did not meet what I call good Italian pizza. Very little sauce and no flavor at all, sausage was the small crumb type and also flavorless.
