My girlfriend took me here for my 60th birthday.Everything was impeccable except when the waitress brought this little dish of vanilla ice cream and wished me happy birthday.I believe for a place of this caliber they should offer you something from the dessert menu for your special occasion.

Celebrated a birthday there with seven people. The food was prepared perfectly. The table side preparation of the Caesar salad added elegance. Our server was the most attentive and gracious that I have ever had anywhere. I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff there. Thank you for an evening to remember.

The crabmeat stuffed lobster is decadently delicious! Only one other restaurant in the area features this amazing dish!

The place had great service and the vibe was awesome. Unfortunately, for how expensive the food prices were I would expect it to come out perfect. The steak was tough (beef medallions), the scallops were overcooked, rubbery and fishy and $10 each. The Brussel sprouts honestly reminded me of the steamed ones you cook in the microwave but maybe I don’t like them steamed. The beef Wellington and the French onion soup were amazing though; so were the wine and cocktail options.
We ended up spending between $300-$400 a person. It is unlikely that I will come back for food.

So I normally try to post only positive things. My husband took me to dinner for our anniversary tonight. I was looking so forward to it. We have never had a bad experience. Until today. I ordered my steak blue and it came out charred burnt. I took a bite and it tasted like charcoal. I politely told the waiter who promptly took it back. The manager brought it back and told me to cut into it. I explained I did. She got very nasty with me about every steak being charbroiled. I politely told her that I didn’t like it. She rolled her eyes and told me to take the scallops. I declined so I could have all my food together. She stormed into the kitchen. When she came back out she stopped by and again told me that all steaks are charbroiled. I apologized for making her angry. On top of it all, they brought me out the same scallops that were cold. I was afraid to say anything, but that is gross. The waiter was awesome, but I couldn’t believe the treatment from a manager. I understand that every steak is charbroiled as I was told three times. Thanks for ruining our anniversary dinner.

Phenomenal food and service. Highly recommended. Our server Danielle was brilliantly attentive, fun to be around and intuitively swept around our party of six like magic.

It was extremely pricey. The lower rating was due to a missed detail and cost for quality I thought would be higher. The atmosphere feels like a lodge and very quaint and cozy. The staff wished us a happy anniversary as we arrived. They were on point with attentiveness, extremely thorough and very warm and friendly. They did not miss a beat, accept one detail which I’ll mention later.

I had the Insalata Mista, 6 ounce filet, lobster tail, shared sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus with Parmesan cheese, a peanut butter bomb for dessert and an espresso martini.

They are known for their flame charred meat which I didn’t know what to expect. I personally don’t like the taste of anything charred. One side of my filet was charred the opposite side was not, maybe that’s how they do it? This reminded me of amateur grilling, not something purposely fancy to be famous. This also took away from the melt in your mouth tenderness that you expect from a filet. I relied on the Bernaise sauce to hide the char flavor, which by the way, was an added cost on top of $56 for the filet and an extra $46 for the lobster tail. The lobster tail was delicious but a bit overcooked in my opinion, with a side of dipping butter which had no added flavor. The shared sides were standard but too full to eat. The asparagus was perfectly grilled, mashed potatoes were flavorful and recommend. The peanut butter bomb dessert was a hot, barely baked peanut butter cookie with hot fudge and vanilla ice cream. Need I say more, a chocolate peanut butter gooy dream. If anything, stop at Ken Stewart’s Lodge bar for a late night cocktail and dessert, you won’t be disappointed there. I paired dessert with a wonderful espresso martini, which I thought was average. While still good, I would expect a signature and higher quality from a high end restaurant. For the price, they do bring you a lot of food. There are extras of fried onions and roasted garlic already plated with your filet. The sides are enough for 2–3 people. And, if you order a salad before dinner or a dessert after, they are also large enough to share for 2. I would rather have smaller portions and pay less than pay more for larger portions wont finish.

The ⭐️ of the night was the Insalata Mista. full of flavor: tomatoes, asparagus, shaved parm, avocado, hearts of palm with a lemon vinaigrette.

And, that one missed detail you ask? Why inquire if there is a special occasion if there is no benefit. While the staff wished us a happy anniversary, there was no card, no little box of chocolates from the chef, VIP card for a future visit, special plated dessert or champagne toast. This is the first anniversary dinner where one of those mentions didn’t happen, and the priciest. BIG disappointment and missed marketing opportunity for the local chain enticing us to want to come back for more.

Very overpriced meal with a tacky taxidermy atmosphere. Only steakhouse I’ve been to without a military discount as well, would not recommend- consider brown derby or longhorn instead.

Came to Ken Stewart’s at 9:15 on a Thursday and they said they couldn’t make me a peanut butter bomb for the bar area. Are you for real? You can’t warm up a friggin cookie at 9PM!? Night ruined. Will not return.

Very friendly staff.

The happy hour serves very small portions. The lobster roll was 13.00 for a small amount of lobster on a dinner roll.
Shrimp was delicious but you will pay 6.00 per shrimp.
The best part of happy hour were the cocktails & the excellent bartender!
