Butter chicken was good but garlic naan was like frozen naan from Walmart and they just cooked it and served

Food was amazing. Everything we had was awe inspiring (butter chicken, naan, chicken lollipops). The tamarind margarita was an especially good cocktail as well. We are from Georgia but will make a point to come back next time we’re here. Thanks Haishi for amazing service and recommendations.

Amazing food and service. Although I was somewhat hesitant to eat at a restaurant located in a mediocre hotel, I am extremely thankful that I did! The spice level and flavors were amazing - I generally walk away from ordering something spicy wondering if they confused my dish and made it for an infant’s taste buds; I thought a level 5 spiciness (6 levels) was perfect - great heat and complex flavors. Highly recommend the Andhra chicken curry and the cheese naan bites (I dipped them in the Andhra curry sauce and it was amazing…should be an appetizer).

Notice how many of these reviews are written by people who haven’t reviewed another place or many other places? A little bizzare…

The atmosphere was gross, I’m sorry I can’t put it more gently but my friend and I were both looking around and pointing out how dirty the place was. I am not kidding when l say the plate, to the seats we were sitting on, to the carpet being 30 shades darker than the original color was making me queasy just looking at it.

The waiter was nice and let us sample a yogurt milkshake (it was alright), however I was disappointed when she asked specifically for a cash tip and then I was going to ask for her to split it a certain way but she interrupted me and came back with two 10s which was just odd… that would have been a 25% tip!

She was friendly but that kind of put me off as well as the state of the place.. there is a lot of downtime for the staff to clean. Mopping/vacuuming/spraying things down goes a long way.

This review would be 4 stars if we were talking about the food alone but we aren't. When I first walked in everything looked somewhat good. But then we sat down and the first thing I noticed was stains on the chair. Which okay thats reasonable when we are discussing eating curry so I looked past it. But then when we sat down I was brought a plate that was still kinda dirty! I had to wipe the plate off with a napkin because it had crumbs on it. Which I was again willing to look past but then I looked down at the floor and it was absolutely disgusting!! I have never seen a restaurant floor look so sticky and grey with grime in my life. It looks like it is never mopped. Then I noticed on the wall right to the left of the table there were drips of who knows what still left and it looks like food might've splat the wall but was never even wiped down. Then I was sitting there and as you can see in the photo I added there is the carpet which I initially thought was dark grey but upon further inspection, there is a corner that is light grey, the initial color but it is so dirty that it's dark greyish brown. Im not one to leave negative reviews or any reviews really but I felt I needed to to inspire some change! Maybe some mopping?? Then the hotel guests were walking from the pool with no shoes on and honestly it made me so uncomfortable because the floors are so dirty. I think my friend and I's experience would've been much better had we not been grossed out by the cleanliness of the plalce. Now some of you might be like, hey they could be super busy and blah blah blah but we were the only customers for over an hour so there is plenty of time for someone to get some hot water and soap and a mop. Also, my friend asked for a twenty dollar bill to be broken so we could leave a cash tip and two tens were brought back....now we are typically generous tippers but it bothers me when people do that kind of thing, basically giving us no other option. I have worked in food service and typically mopping is required before we opened and after...always....everyday. The cleanliness killed our appetites. If I am spending over $20 on a meal, I expect it to be served in a clean place.

I was really excited to try this restaurant. I am a big fan of Indian cuisine. However, my experience at Khaao left me disappointed. The garlic naan was great. Worth $3 for sure. Unfortunately, the chicken biryani was 90% rice. The chicken included a bone-in chicken leg and half.of a thigh that was butchered with part of the back attached to it. When the meat was stripped from the bones, there was not a lot of meat to be enjoyed with the bowl of rice. The sauces were, I will admit, delicious and full of flavor. Overall, the meal was good, but a bowl of rice for $17.00 is not a good value. In fact, it's a terrible value. The chicken leg and thigh are the least expensive part of the chicken. Why would the chef serve half of the thigh attached to the back, which has no meat. I understand that the chicken is cooked whole in the pot and that the chicken will start to come apart. It is the responsibility of the kitchen staff to ensure that there is enough chicken meat to justify the $17.00 proce tag.

Probably not fair to give only 4 stars for service and atmosphere. We were there at lunchtime on a hot day and we were about the only ones there. Staff were enjoying the slow time and I don't blame them. Our waiter was otherwise friendly and the food really excellent. Got a goat curry and goat biryani to share, and took half of it home to enjoy later.

4:30 ordered food for take out, told 5:00 pickup. Arrived at 5:00, told it would be an extra 10 minutes. Waited 20 minutes, still no food. A carryout order should never take 50 minutes. Such a disappointment and lack of consideration for other people’s time, doesn’t matter how good the food is.

This yummy India restaurant is located in the Radisson Hotel. The food was very tasty and spicy, but that was because we asked for the spice level to be that way. It was clean and
the service was good.
The only thing is that you need to be aware that it is inside the Radisson Hotel. Otherwise, you may get a bit confused when your Uber tries to drop you off.
Otherwise we really enjoyed our meal there.

Both locations are fantastic! We tried Brunswick first and now Montrose. We've had several dishes and everything is perfect! The staff is extremely friendly and give great suggestions for new things to try.
