I'm not from Ohio but this place has great food. Everything was seasoned so good the only issue I had was that my chitterlings were not clean. There is no place like home though but everything else was so good

Excellent food - Dirty Rice was perfectly seasoned, Pulled pork had the perfect texture, the banana pudding was spectacular. Ever aspect of my meal was perfect!

My second time getting food here and it was delish each time. But this time I decided to order the peach cobbler… OMG AMAZING this place is now on the top of the list of best soul food I ever had!

Extremely disappointed, had high hopes but will not order again, overpriced for the quality and portions. Small portion on extremely thin pieces of fish for the dinner, fries were barely cooked - not even the slightest browned. I can only assume it was the mac and cheese which gave me food poisoning as my husband had the coleslaw instead, illness started within 2 hours of eating and I'm still sick after 2 days. They should be ashamed on what was offered as "banana pudding". We received 2 pint carryout containers filled to the brim with vanilla wafers - a full pint each of wafers !!!!!, the pudding was a mere drizzle to bind the wafers together into a sticky mess - absolutely no layer of pudding, and only 5-6 small bits of banana, that was it, absolutely disgusting.

Ive gone a few times each time it's been so good but this last time and today smh the chitterlings were not cleaned good at all the Mac n cheese is over cooked the yams aren't sweet I come from a different city just for the food... And I promise you if the older black women aren't there idk what that food may taste like

I ordered two rib dinners and wrongly assumed that some type of bread would be included as in the past. Very disappointed to discover that wasn't the case. Would have been nice if the ordertaker could have offered cornbread at an additional cost. Then you would have an option. Dinners ALWAYS come with some type of bread, even if it's Wonder Bread. You were out of sweet potato pie, but the peach cobbler was excellent.
Got the Turkey chops and they were seasoned to perfection! The mac and cheese and candied yams were great! Also had pig feet and they were also good. Will be back again!

This was by far the longest wait I've ever had at a restaurant for a relatively simple order. I watched a member of the staff serveral times touch their face, eat, answer the phone, and then go right back to preparing food orders. It was so unsanitary and unprofessional. That will absolutely be the last time I ever visit this location.

Food was DELICIOUS! The Mr. had smothered turkey chops with rice and macaroni and cheese. I had fried wings, macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes. We took home gizzards, soul rolls, and dressing. The only thing I was fond of was the dressing. Everything else was ON POINT! We will be back.
