Great spot for a late night drink! The food and drinks are always great. I've lived by this place since 2021 and it has been a pleasure to visit. I will miss the place when it closes. Hopefully someone takes over the establishment.

One of Akron's (Hidden) Gems. Good food at reasonable prices (I would say the menu has typical bar food). Fantastic service and a terrific atmosphere (stained glass and old movie posters). As other reviews have mentioned it is small with very few TV's, but that is part of the charm.

Great spot to grab a bite and enjoy close company. The food was superb and the service was excellent, but the seating is very scarce and the drinks selection is limited. Only four beers on tap at a time. Don’t come with a group of more than 4 because there are only two tables that seat six; most tables only seat two or four. If you’re an Akron local, it is worth trying on a spontaneous night out for dinner or a place to grab a brew after work. I love the film themed atmosphere and the old town vibe!
Always an amazing time and atmosphere. the owner, Alan, makes it a point to come to the table to say hi and establishes a relationship with you - you don’t see this happen too often anymore! It’s typically the same crowd on the weekend which is great because then you become friendly with everyone. Great service and prices. Will continue to come here week after week!

Watched the owner walk over a thank a veteran for his service and gave a discount on his meal. The very old veteran stated that was the first time anyone had did that for him. Thank you Allen for taking care of our veterans!

Great dinner tonight! Had smokey and mushroom swiss burgers and fries. Also had sampler platter.Everything was delicious.Good service too!

I have been here SEVERAL TIMES as I used to work at a major business close by. Additionally, I have patronized this establishment several times with my son and husband. Today though, I went in to have a beer and purchase food to go. I was quickly informed that I was not allowed to purchase sauerkraut balls to go. I said I would eat one there and take the rest home. The owner pretty much yelled at me in front of the other patrons that I could not do that. I am not sure why he felt he could yell and embarrass me in front of other patrons but, needless to say, we will never be at this establishment again.
