Great spot for a late night drink! The food and drinks are always great. I've lived by this place since 2021 and it has been a pleasure to visit. I will miss the place when it closes. Hopefully someone takes over the establishment.

One of Akron's (Hidden) Gems. Good food at reasonable prices (I would say the menu has typical bar food). Fantastic service and a terrific atmosphere (stained glass and old movie posters). As other reviews have mentioned it is small with very few TV's, but that is part of the charm.

M- the food was ok but presentation was a little light. Its hard to combine a old man bar and a upscale dinning. One always out weighs the other. The atmosphere is 1970 the prices are 2023. So hard to fine a place that makes you feel well served and you leave with some pocket change. If Larrys is to stay in step with its neighbor Ken Stewards they must overhaul the atmosphere with some new seating. Maybe we need Jon Taffer to do a make over.

The food is trash and the owner or his son is really really rude. Atmosphere is too dark and gloomy you can barely see what you're eating and if you have to send something back they give you the dirtiest looks that makes you extremely uncomfortable I personally will never ever visit this establishment again in my life

I went out for a few drinks after work and we had great service from Allen at Larry's. We were tucked away in a corner booth and shortly before we left, the women at the table across from us were very rude and said they didn't like our conversation or volume. How rude of them to eavesdrop and apparently they must have gotten lost in their way to Bob Evans. If you go eat dinner at a bar, then I think much of the restaurant etiquette doesn't exist. Stay home and shove your face full of food next time people or go to Bob Evans. Larry's is a neighborhood bar!!!

Great spot to grab a bite and enjoy close company. The food was superb and the service was excellent, but the seating is very scarce and the drinks selection is limited. Only four beers on tap at a time. Don’t come with a group of more than 4 because there are only two tables that seat six; most tables only seat two or four. If you’re an Akron local, it is worth trying on a spontaneous night out for dinner or a place to grab a brew after work. I love the film themed atmosphere and the old town vibe!

Always an amazing time and atmosphere. the owner, Alan, makes it a point to come to the table to say hi and establishes a relationship with you - you don’t see this happen too often anymore! It’s typically the same crowd on the weekend which is great because then you become friendly with everyone. Great service and prices. Will continue to come here week after week!
