Delicious food, a little expensive but was worth the price. The service was great. The restaurant itself was a bit too loud (was not crowded, just music volume) for my preference making it very difficult to hear people on the other end of the table.

This place is nice in summer with outdoor seating. In any other season I find it mediocre. Food is OK but nothing special. Selection of beer is OK as well, ever time I was here they were out of at least one kind of beer.

Very friendly server. We had the smash burgers with chips and they were fine. Nothing special about the taste. Similar to a burger I would make at home. Beer selection is good. Possibly the upscale items on the menu are more impressive.

We came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. There was not much of a crowd yet so we were seated immediately. The place is nice with indoor seating and a nice bar set up. It is more upscale than most brew pubs and therefore more pricy. They have a dozen or more beers on tap. A good selection of styles and tastes. The Rubber City Snow Black IPA was quite good.

I am not a vegan but the smoked vegan meatloaf intrigued me. My wife ordered the Port Salut burger. I have had " meatless" meats before and they were firm and had flavor. The meatloaf had the consistency of mashed potatoes and it would squeeze out of the sandwich each bite. It didn't have much flavor and it was supposed to be served with a horseradish sauce. I saw it but tasted no horseradish as that would have given it a bit of flavor. It did have smokiness though. It was topped with collard greens. They were quite chewy and bitter. I had to pull them off my sandwich. My wife fared better with her burger. The Port Salut was two smash patties covered with bourbon bacon jam and gorgonzola cheese. She liked it. We both got the side slaw. It was more like broccoli salad and was on the salty side.

Our service was good. Our server was attentive and friendly. I will try them again in the future but will order something much different next time.

It was very busy so there was quite a wait for drinks and food, but the staff was incredibly friendly and energetic. We enjoyed the option to get a flight of beer! The food was disappointingly average. Our baked brie was not in the oven for long enough, it had great flavor but came out luke warm and chewy. The smash burger was pretty good, nothing special about the chips.

The parking lot is an absolute nightmare especially in the dark, the driveway is full of huge potholes. The path to the door wasn't clearly labeled and very icy.

Parking: The spots are small and it gets very full when it's busy. Be careful in the driveway, lots of potholes.

Really good food with great presentations. Full bar and craft beer, no domestic beer, so if craft is not your thing, then have a cocktail. It took some time for a server to get to our table, so it could be a little faster. However, the food came out asap.

I recently visited Lock 15 after a few years, and it was a fantastic experience! My friends and I arrived before the dinner rush, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier.
The menu seems smaller than I remember, but every item on it is still absolutely top-notch. The fries were perfectly crisp, and I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon linguine. While picking the clams out was a bit messy, the dish was flavorful and satisfying. Portions were generous--almost too much--but I left feeling happy and full.
Overall, a great spot with excellent food and service.
Highly recommend!

Like to hit this place for dinner before the annual "'Tis the Season" community Christmas concert the UofA choral and brass depts put on that's usually held about five minutes down the road at the church. We've had the shrimp & grits (very good but wish they'd pour less broth over the grits - makes it too soupy), hot honey wings (big, meaty, brined and smoked goodness that comes with a creamy gorgonzola dip, chicken saltimbocca sandwich (delicious, just be sure to eat all the ingredients together as the breaded chicken patty is good but not very seasoned on its own), Port Salut Burger (bourbon bacon jam, hello :), and Meatball Sub (delicious, big and tender homemade meatballs that make you swear you're in your favorite family-owned Italian restaurant). My only complaint about getting the sandwiches is that they only come standard with chips - fries or other sides are extra. At $16-$20 per sandwich, you should be able to pop some fries on that plate, L15BC. We visited on a Sunday around 3:30 pm and noticed quite a few people there already. There was a big game on TV that day which could account for some of the extra traffic along with it being close to the holiday. Saw more than a few families dressed up for the occasion. Nice place. We'll be back!

Food has changed and not for the better. Sent back the shrimp and grits. The fried fish was pretty good but no where near as good as it used to be. Beer was tasty. Very pricey as well. Won't go back anytime soon.

I stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday evening. I ordered the fish and chips and the new Akron IPA. The food was served quickly, it was a good temperature, and everything had a really good taste.

The service was OK. No one greeted me when I walked in and there were plenty of employees seemingly just standing around. It wasn’t overly busy while I was there. The bartender did check in on me a few times while I was eating and he was helpful.

Overall, everything was just fine. I wouldn’t highly recommend it, but I would say if you’re in the mood for a beer and some pub food, it’s a good spot to check out.

Very disappointed in the menu and the quality of the food. The chips served with my meatball sandwich were horribly stale! Wait staff drank beer while standing behind the bar.

Parking: difficult to manuever when reaching the end of the parking lot when full, difficult to turn around.

Loved this place until recently, stopped in for dinner after the Brew Kettle buyout and was not impressed. The service after receiving food was nonexistent, and seldom before then. I order the port salut burger and was extremely disappointed, fries were stale, my burger was missing the advertised bacon jam, and the burger had less than a whisper of cheese. The smash patties were over cooked and dry, with very little seasoning. I did enjoy the creamy gorgonzola dip and my beers were fine. I hope I had a one off experience and next time will be better.

I enjoyed the vegan mushroom bulgogi. The menu was clearly marked with vegan options. The staff was friendly and efficient.
