Stopped in on a snowy day downtown and the Lockview knocked it out of the park! Great atmosphere, wonderful food, and love the cocktail selection. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We came with family before a show at the Civil Theater across the street! The restaurant was absolutely packed but they still got our food and drinks to us in a timely fashion. Our server was super nice and personable and the sandwiches were unique and hit the perfect spot! We love Lockview and will be sure to be back soon!
Hard to visit with a group over 4. Otherwise good beer selection and appetizers

Met up with friends for dinner before a show! Seems like a popular place because we also ran into other friends! We shared the croquettes and I had a caprese salad with added chicken. Both were tasty! They were out of Dr. Pepper, otherwise service was very accommodating for our friend with a dairy allergy, who had a burger with no cheese and no butter on the bun. Only suggestion is assessing air quality as it was >1000 while we were by the door.

Parking: Up the hill on the right across from the theater.
Kid-friendliness: We had a kid in our group and the food was helpful for people with specific food likes.
Grilled cheeses were good, fries would be better if they were hot. Busy and hostess was taking names on a post-it note, seems like there's a need for a better system in place

Been a while since I’ve been here, have been unfortunately residing in Canton. Came on a whim, and it was awesome.
Service: 10. Allison the bartender was a beast, and she served some amazing drinks.
Food: 10. Every single thing we got was fire. We were sharing the whole time, so we could taste all the awesome different items available.
Vibe: 10. Cool spot that always has cool people, and good music.
Whoever is running this place, keep it up. Not many good restaurants that have good food AND good service.

The list of grilled cheese sandwiches is amazing the veggie burger which I had was fantastic
If there were to be a competitor to Lockview, it would be Melt, but it's not even a fight. Lockview dominates in the "elevated grilled cheese" category.
A must-have here is the tomato soup. I'm not a fan of tomato soup in general, but it's an essential when I visit here.
The Mac and Cheese bites are the best Mac and Cheese bites I've ever had by far, and the Sriracha ketchup they serve with it is an incredible pairing.
All of the grilled cheese choices are great, but I tend to favor those with a protein included, and the lobster grilled cheese reigns supreme for me.
Treat yourself to a well thought out cocktail while you're here. You definitely won't be disappointed. If liquor isn't your thing, they have an extensive beer offering.
This is one of those local gems that should be visited while in the Akron area

Neat restaurant! We were driving through the area and stopped there. I got the #15 which is a sweet love child of a grilled cheese with a pulled pork sandwich. It was pretty darn good!
Also got an order of latkes which were delicious.
Would love to go back to try more! They were out of the crab dip unfortunately

The sandwiches are good and reasonably priced. The service you get can range from excellent to not great. Sometimes it will quick and friendly. Others can be really slow and the server may not check in with you ever. But I would still recommend going the sandwiches are unique.
