Marques Restaurant wonderful experience. We had the chicken strips with candied yams and mashed potatoes. The chicken strips were excellent the breading was flavorful and crispy. Enjoyed the whole meal. Not to mention the services was super friendly the whole experience was great. We will definitely eat here again when we are back in the area. Place is set up nice and the location is fine. I had the shrimp and grits and it wasn't appetizing at all. The shrimp weren't sauteed, seems more like warm cocktail shrimp thrown on a bed of cheesy grits. And the grits wasn't good either. Maybe another entree another day but today wasn't it.
Food was amazing, service was good, they were out of a few different things so took a star for that. We went right before a show and we were disappointed we couldn't take our leftovers home. Would get the fried chicken any day!
