Wow, what a gem in the heart of Akron! As we continue to travel the world finding some deep south inspired comfort food is always welcome. There is fried chicken and then there is amazing fried chicken like Marques. Their take on blue cheese cole slaw was inspired and let's just say red beans and rice this far north and this good might be illegal. The whisky selection was expansive and i had my 1st ever Heaven Hill here. Bon appetite!
This was my first time trying Marques food. I mean my goodness the food was extraordinary and heavenly I will definitely be back here. I had the Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese with Green Beans. I kid you not my food was gone before my eyes.
Food is great here. Visit this restaurant often. Anything fried here is going to be amazing. Didn’t care for the walleye dinner but that is the only time I didn’t like something at this restaurant. Recommend it!
