Out of this world the best soul food I have ever had! A bunch of us from in and out of town needed some real fried chicken and fried okra, and Mickey & Claude's did not disappoint. The portions are more than enough to satisfy any hunger. My husband and I shared the alligator. I did not share my cornbread, so they gave my husband an extra cornbread ? then for dessert we had the peach cobbler. I have never, in my life, had better peach cobbler. The perfect amount of spice, batter and peach blend that will melt you away. The staff also showed off the other dessert options of carrot cake, Hawaiian cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake, and apple caramel cheesecake. The slices are huge! So beautiful and definitely made with love. They don't have a dining area, but were very generous to let us hang out and eat in their foyer anyway to enjoy the meal. It was one of the best experiences of food and good people to be with. Thank you Mickey and Claude's! We can't wait to return!

We just had the best food and a ton of fun at this little Take out place that is 5 Star for everything we can think of. If you're in Akron, don't miss the best food we ever ate in forever! Pork chops, Meatloaf, Baked Chicken, Alligator, and phenomenal desserts that you probably can't eat in one sitting. Every one was so friendly. We wouldn't leave, just sat down & ate there. Way underpriced for their fab food! Thanks to their wonderful staff, we had the best time. I think the picture shows that. Don't miss this place in Akron Ohio! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Food was amazing the first day the open that Mac & Cheese was so good on the first day then after that it just wasn't the same, food is okay just to put something on you're stomach, I really think they need to update they food menu and switch it up and enough to choose

My family loves the food i so recommend it but potato salad can be a hit or miss. The three times we had it the first time it was so delicious we wished we had the recipe. The second time we had it it was too relishy. Third time we had it it was good just too sweet for me. But my gf loved it too. I recommend the meatloaf she recommensa the pig feet

I have truly enjoyed my dinners, the staff are old family friends, so I finally got to check them out. The sweet potato tarts are oh so good. Everything has been delicious, can't wait until Wednesday, Thank you Mickey and Claude Soul Food restaurant.Vegetarian options: There is a variety to choose from. I love vegetables.

I got a catfish dinner for lunch two weeks ago, I split it with my husband because we were late for an event. The divine flavor and fragrance of the fish drew me back again and again. That flavor is money! Love, love, love the homemade coleslaw and generous portions.

The atmosphere was very clean and pretty, the workers were very friendly, however, I had many items missing from my order, also the food was just ok. The food did not taste bad, but it wasn't great. The best tasting items was the chitterlings and the carrot cake.
