Mid-East Cafe and Restaurant is a charming place. The owner/chef recommended a wonderful dish with rice and shrimp, while the falafel wrap impressed with fava beans. The New York City chicken dish is a must-try, with perfectly grilled chicken and seasoned rice. The food was very tasty. The falafel pita was good, and the gyro was enjoyed. The hummus was great, and the baba ganoush was very good as well. The Shawarmas were good, though they were out of pickles and the sauce was very light. The food holds strong value in terms of quality and portions for the price. The prices were also reasonable. The atmosphere was dark and a wee bit chaotic, but the server was very friendly and prompt. The guy working the counter was nice and accommodating. The food is great.
