I wanted this to be my spot so bad. I spent close to 50 dollars in support of Akron businesses. I ordered online, which went fine. The problem started right away. I ordered peach cobbler, which they didn't have and they took it upon themselves to replace with cheesecake. Unfortunately I don't like cheesecake. When I got home, I sampled all the food and out of close to 50 dollars of food the eggs was the favorite. I will not be returning. I hesitated to give this review because they were busy, and help is hard to find. I end up discarding everything but the eggs. Don't get the grits!

Been looking for a good soul food place for my mom. Picked up some sides to try out and she loved them. The sweet potatoes are really good. She also Ikeda the corn muffin. Will be going back to try a few other things.

Family friendly, great food, bomb lemonade... Get the fish, collard greens and cornbread, the yams hit every time....
We stop in here from out of town. We were excited to support a black owned soul food business. However, it was very disappointing. The waitress never told us that we had to seat ourselves if we were dining in, a customer did after standing for some time. They were out of coffee and orange juice during breakfast. The cook came out and ate his breakfast while we were waiting for our food to come out. When my food arrived, my wings were cold and old. I sent it back, and they brought back fewer wings than what was sent back, and all they did was we drop them in the grease. They brought it out grease and all on the plate. I was so upset. This is the reason why people are skeptical about supporting black owned businesses.

Paid almost $25 for catfish dinner. Received 2 small pieces of frozen catfish and small portions of green and mac and cheese. Which also had no taste. Wish i would have taken pics. Uber driver asked me about the food. Hopefully everyone can see this review and keep their money. Food not good.
